Meh, now I got something better than gamerpics and avatar clothes to spend left over points on.

+1  I would never buy extra points for this but it is nice to have somewhere left over points can go.  Not like it's a MMO and this is somehow unbalancing the over all game.  Fun or not, the SP is the focus for most people when it comes to a game like this.

I like how everyone keeps talking about "unfair advantages" when this is a co-op game.

Image IPB Yeah, Get people to buy the packs so you can have someone with awesome weapons and characters, so you can play on gold, earn lots of cash and then buy the packs in game.

Remember the volus on Illium in ME2

"I want something that I can say 'I own you'".

The reason why I think people are worried is that EA and/or BW intentionally made it so unlocking things is annoyingly hard, thus getting people to cave into spending money on packs rather than getting them in-game.

i dont mind the unlocking in fact thats what keeps me going back to mp honestly.

i guess the only small complaint i have is the whole common and uncommon items fiasco

Really people? A business needs money to succeed? Didn't know that was new information..

All you need to do is just play the game to get the bonus characters and weapons. They already said the drop rates improved so...it'll be like the demo but faster. I'm not understanding the problem..

They said a lot of things which may not be exactly as they said. And why would drop rates be improved if they can profit from it making it even worse than in the Demo? It took me 5 days to unlock everything, items and chars in the demo. I'll let you know how it goes with the full game.

Every company has a Mission in their founding statute. Not every company has "To make money" stated in their Mission. I'm not aware of any which has it. Making money is a consequence of doing a good job. When anything is valid to make money, it usually end up in trouble even if not in a short term.

I said a business needs money to succeed. If the business isn't making any money, they're not going to last. I suppose making money is a consequence of doing a good job, but..if they're doing a good job and not making money...pretty self-explanatory.

My point is what I said, to continue on with a business you're going to have to make a profit.

Also, they improved the drop rate because people were complaining about not getting the characters they wanted. The option to buy the packs are there for the impatient people who just want options instantly.

Can you keep your QQ to relevant threads?

Seriously we get it you don't like the ending, don't buy the game if it bothers you so much. You vote for change within a company using your wallet.

Yep, and I was just opening said wallet a bit and flashing a few dollars at the guys selling us this stuff. What else do you think I was doing here?

Wait, given your sunny disposition in all other kind of threads, actually do not answer. No intelligent response coming forth anyway from you.

In the full version of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, players obtain Reinforcement Packs using credits earned while playing the game.  These packs may include weapons, upgrades, consumables and new characters to play. Based on player feedback during the demo period, the drop rate for rare race/class combinations and weapons has been improved.

For players who do not wish to spend time earning these multiplayer credits through matches, they will have the option to purchase certain packs through real currency.  Our goal is to allow all Mass Effect 3 players the ability to experience the best equipment, characters, etc in multiplayer regardless of how much time they have to spend. :)

This is the problem in games today, why even bother buying a game if you don't want to play it and just buy everything?  I don't understand why Bioware employees/BiowareEA would support people not wanting to actually play their games.

That's like saying in SWTOR the boss drops are low so, you can just buy the drops and not bother in running the raid.

Typical EA. Oh well guess the life lesson here is, "if you want something DON'T under any circumstances think that working hard will get it.... just pay some guy and he'll give it to you for doing absolutely NOTHING". SSX is the same. I really hate this kind of blatent profiteering, if its in the game let me work my way up to it (you know the FUN part of playing a game).

People forget this is a completely optional thing to do. Especially since you can get the stuff in game with earning in game credits. Seriously it's just another option, getting upset over this is kinda crazy.

Now getting upset over the leaked and confirmed endings of the game is a lot more understandable than getting upset over this.

It's actually quite easy: a year from now, not many people are still going to be playing ME3 MP. So if you feel like replaying your game then and want more than 50% readiness, you'll have an MP mode with few people to play with you. Means frustrating game play. Hence, you buy those packs then.

Good thing for EA/Bioware: the game will still generate an income long after they stopped supporting it.

It's completely optional whether you want to buy using credits or said currency, EA isn't forcing you to do either. It's up to the discretion of the consumer ultimately.

And with the spectre pack, will I finally be able to get an asari vanguard?
