Great! Apparently you need to be online always to play From Ashes and if your are a CE or DE player, you can not load where you left off.
Is there a work around? I don't want to play ME3 and connected to the internet at the same time.

need to be on the internet for the first activation of DLC to confirm it is you, after that you can turn it off, but again you won't be able to get the DLC until the official release in 12 hours.
