Well they can't help the release date. The UK rules are just that way for all games.

UK rules state that they have to release a game in the UK a specific amount of days after it's released in the US? I don't think so.
KoA come out on the same day as the US release.
I can't be bothered to explain it when the end result will just be "I WANT MY GAMES NOW DOES NOT COMPUTE!" so i'll let you believe that Bioware/EA is evil and/or against you/kicked your puppy

It's the thing you use on the Normandy in ME2 to talk to TIM - it's an extremely fast communications device, but it's strictly point-to-point, you can only talk to one person who has the other one (they're paired).
