yes, it's point to point, but IIRC she's linked directly to Thessia, and only earth (and batarian) comms are down.

Reapers huskified army of Cannibals from Batarians in just a couple of days. Wonder how people feel about that when they realise how powerful the enemy is, beyond ordinary weapons.

She's transmitting to Trikalon, not Thessia.

Trikalon is where they're building the Supercollider, so perhaps Shepard picks up the feed while gathering a war asset.

Sounds like the same disorientating noise that those colonists on Eden Prime heard, so long ago... hmm. Does it really cause indoctrination? Or just the effects that Emily is currently feeling
