Having a blast so far.  Playing on PC at 1920x1080 res all graphic options maxed.  Imported my ME1/ME2 shep and Vanguard kicks BUTT!!

So far my impressions are:

*  Animations and textures are the same as the demo (poor)
*  Same with lipsyncing
*  Overall art direction and graphics have improved from ME2
*  Initial mission has more dialog than the demo version
*  Import decisions and relationships matter
*  Great communication via looks and facial expressions, so far
*  Weapon mods are great fun...feels like ME1 without a lot of the clutter.  Good mix of ME1 and ME2 system
*  Only got to the second mission but battles are tougher...for sure.  Haven't walked around the Normandy yet.

I'm truly sorry too bring this up but, what has player input being like so far? According the the streams and some other users the auto dialogue is just OTT. Can you talk about this? What it's like talking to your crew? Can you still be a nice guy and/or jerk?

I unlocked via a proxy server in Hong Kong. I am from the US. I imported my ME2 character but the face didn't transfer. That's ok as I wanted to change it.

No armor changes yet but weapons, yes. I am on the second mission and haven't even toured the Normandy yet. I will say the game starts out FAST and keeps the pedal to the metal at first.

And, the cinematic emotions are awesome. It is no surprise that Ash/Kaiden is with you to start and my Shep was LI with Ash and didn't cheat in ME2. I am already sensing a lot of tension there and it is constant back and forth about trust....also, glances and looks. Awesome.

Yeah...feels like ME2 so far.  The story is a bit linear in the first mission or so and that is as far as I got.  I haven't noticed a big difference, though.  There are still Paragon and Ren. choices and some extra dialog on the left side of the wheel.

Combat mechanics MUCH improved.  I love that the PC controls are better.  Scroll Wheel and mouse hotkeys for the WIN!

Sadly though, Shepard still walks around with weapon at the ready (shoulder height) while his squad mates have the sense to lower theirs when there's no action happening.

I'm also about 2 hours in and am absolutely LOVING it. I also imported my Mass Effect 2 character with absolutely zero issues.

As far as dialogue goes, it's on par with ME2. And yes, there are "nice" and then what I'd call "Cold All About Business" responses. I haven't seen anything yet that I'd classify as "Jerk" though. Like I said, the dialogue and response choices are VERY similar to ME2.

But all in all, I couldn't be happier so far. The game feels very epic in scale and has a since of urgency and dread about it with the Reaper invasion. It's awesome and I am in hog heaven!

People like to **** and nitpick.  It is the BSN, afterall.  If you liked ME1 and ME2...you will love it.

Another observation...Cryo ammo rules!

And, if you import ME2 save, you start at level 30 and have a lot of power at first. But, the game is HARD so it must ramp to your skills or your first 30 levels happen quickly if you start at 1.

Reread the Codex entries.  Some are the same but others have additional info or new entries.

The only thing I want to know is how early on you build up your full squad...

If this game pulls a DA2 and I play through the entire game without even getting Isabella, I will punch someone.

Second mission and you have Liara, Ash/Kaiden, Vega.  That's as far as I got.

Does this mean you can't customize armor before going to the next mission, after earth?
