The only thing I want to know is how early on you build up your full squad...

If this game pulls a DA2 and I play through the entire game without even getting Isabella, I will punch someone.

Second mission and you have Liara, Ash/Kaiden, Vega.  That's as far as I got.

Lovely! I'm just hoping Tali doesn't pull a Legion on me.

I unlocked via a proxy server in Hong Kong. I am from the US. I imported my ME2 character but the face didn't transfer. That's ok as I wanted to change it.

No armor changes yet but weapons, yes. I am on the second mission and haven't even toured the Normandy yet. I will say the game starts out FAST and keeps the pedal to the metal at first.

And, the cinematic emotions are awesome. It is no surprise that Ash/Kaiden is with you to start and my Shep was LI with Ash and didn't cheat in ME2. I am already sensing a lot of tension there and it is constant back and forth about trust....also, glances and looks. Awesome.

Does this mean you can't customize armor before going to the next mission, after earth?

No...it is pretty intense back to back missions.  The next mission is an extension of Earth.

From a fellow Irishman, thank you, Stephen

LOL...well, an Irishman two generations removed.  I am American (Irish/Scottish lineage).  But Stephen rules.

To those with doubts, relax and try it first.  You will have fun.  Quit worrying about everything and enjoy life.

Can you tell us a bit about what imports besides levels? Do resources come over? Were weapons/powers ported over pretty much as said, or were there tweaks? Any other long-term import play benefits?

Resources do not come over, you get no bonus credits.

Pretty much your level, previous game decisions, and some of the morality bar carry over.

Are your skill points automatically allocated from an imported save or do you get to distribute them yourself?

Thank you for answers. I guess I'll manage one mission on the "sports-wear-colored-N7-Armor"! :D

I think the textures so far are much better than ME2 (weapons and armor especially, and character models as well), but the animations are worse..

Lip synching is also definitely off.

This...and some of my powers were already assigned.  At least those that were there in the previous game.  For instance, my Vangaurd charge was leveled a few levels but Nova was empty as it is a new power in ME3.

In regards to morality, it sounds like it is most beneficial to max out both renegade AND Paragon in a single ME2 playthrough, or get as much as possible due to how rep works in ME3. The more you have, good or bad, the better off you are. Does that sound accurate to you importers?

Well, I kind of agree although coming from the Texmod texture mods for ME2, textures are a lot worse!  Animations are roughly the same as ME2.

Ambient effects are better.  For instance, the Omni Tool has a cool new glow to it.

Yeah, this happened to me as well. Still had like 25 points to spend off the bat, though.

It's great to hear something good about the game, since I have heard so much flaming thous far.
Lip-synch has always been off, I don't mind that.

Yeah, lip-syncing has always been a LITTLE off, but in ME3, it seems as if it's moderatley more off. Annoying if I could give it a word.

That's why I always preferred helmets which covered Sheps face, or at least his mouth to avoid the lip-syncing ugliness.

Hammer6767 say's if "you love ME1 and ME 2, you'll love this" but Bawsee says that the "auto dialogue is rampant" I'm actually sick typing that word but I have to get my point across.

I'm confus.

To me, that's not too big of an issue. Had to get used to the lip syncing in ME1, ME2, and DA:O/2 when I started all them up for the first time, I don't see having to get used to it again that big of a hurdle anymore.

On a slightly unrelated note, does anyone else use a GTX 580 to play the game? Isn't there a setting to try to compensate for lip-syncing? I think my audio receiver also has an option, but if it is only for dialogue, then everything else will get messed up. Ah well.

I can't WAIT to play this. Thanks again to the early birds for keeping us updated.

I have always played in German, so I won't even mind that :P

When you get to change armour can you see if you can customise the Defender armour? Or any other full armour sets?

Another question, is any of the item-based DLC working for you guys? The Collector rifle, or any other weapons that were registered as "Unrecognized items" under DLC?

As a vanguard are you allowed to use the omniblade? Or you "stuck" with the biotic punch?

I too have a question. I see my first one was answered already (no SR-2A visits or Armour Change between Earth and Mars), but I figured I might as well ask my second.
Can you change/customize weapons for you and your squad before dropping onto Mars? Like a pre-mission loadout screen or something?
