Because it improved them immensely. And at least partially drowned out the Guardian's nails-on-a-blackboard voice.

But nah, we'll just all rage and jump on the conspiracy theory boat.

Protecting possible sales was the reason.

EA realizes there is profit loss due to many people canceling their pre-order. So People won't stand on queue tomorrow for ME3 releases, which means find a new ending ASAP!
Assumptions only make you look foolish.

In my best Sir Alec Guinness impression: Which means EA has won. Then there would be no one who could stand against the Empire.
I don't think EA is directly involved in any of BioWare activities, unless they get negative feedback from many customers, this is where BioWare find itself in vulnerable position against EA.

Actually, no - this is the real reason.
However, it's not because EA sees the hate for the endings; it's because it's a potentially game-ruining aspect for people. There are quite a few people who, if they know the ending, don't see the point in going through the rest of the motions.
So they took the video down to protect sales.
There's a lot that weighs in for marketing aspects; it's also why they won't bother taking down the same video in a year's time.

I would of thought Bioware would of been the ones to remove it to be honest.
EA is BioWare. They are the same company -- EA/BioWare. They insist on this all the time. So stop thinking they're not.

In the context that this poster meant, yes it is just an assumption.
