Is the only way to get the Steam overlay in Mass Effect 3 to set Steam to load Origin as a 3rd party game? </3 (And I take it that we have to have Origin running and online to use ME3, even Singleplayer?)

depends how you patch ur game. aka remove the Origin off the masseffect3.exe would resolve the issue

run Origin through steam. Bot up ME3 and you got your overlay
