I found that reloading From Ashes in Origin worked for me, no problems. Of course, by that time I'd nearly finished the game, but not to worry, on my second playthrough right now.

I have the same issue as the OP!

The game crashes after the loading screen, after I've selected my squad.

I tried repairing the DLC but instead of crashing, now the loading screen does not end!

OP.. did you fix it yet? Or can anyone tell me how to fix it?

PS: It's NOT the video crash everyone seems to have! The DLC doesn't even load!

PPS: If Shepard is stuck (like in the cockpit) just tap your movement keys (it worked with walking backward for me) frequantly and quickly to get out of being stuck.

Same to me... no audio and no textures upload... the game crashes if I exit to the Menu...

Confirmation: Esc spamming is not working for me. The character and weapons load out have been different each time.
The team has been different each time.

You have to go to the other location first, I tried every possible combination of people, and which location to visit first. Go to the one to the right of the pod, then the rearmost. The cuts-cenes won't be in order, but at least it won't crash then. (I tried almost 10 times in various ways in one location, the only surefire way was to visit the other location first (the one that doesn't crash)).

After repair installation and with continue pressing ESC the game now passed the critical crash after video. Thanks

The game ignores my esc-hitting completely. Haven't found a way to fix this crap yet. Hard crash when the vehicle is about to land on Eden Prime.

I also had the crash to desktop after the prothean video, pressing esc workeed for me too. +1

I have got the same problem...

there is a patch available from today and tomorrow onwards, not available to test yet though
