Javik is pretty awesome. I have to admit that my favorite scene with him was the one with Liara after Thessia. Sure, some might think that he comes off as a jerk, but he was only being honest. It actually makes Liara look bad imho--she throws a hissy fit at the one person who most understands what she's going through with his civilization being obliterated and all.

The Vega scene is a close second. Hilarious stuff.

His remark about Garrus being a much better marksman if he had four eyes had me in stitches alone. I'm so glad they decided to include him, taking him everywhere with me and watching him insult race after race, person after person, was one of the definite highlights of the game. I love that he also evolves enough to stop being a jerk and play nice as well (with Liara and on the Citadel. Even if he doesn't mean it, it shows he's learning). Plus the last conversation you have with him on Earth actually put a lump in my throat.

Fantastic character. Wish we could've got another new one as layered and interesting (such as a disgruntled Batarian, Turian female or even a Vorcha 'scientist') in ME3.
