I'm not asking if 2 or more people can play, I just want to know if I can play it with no internet connection.

As far as I know, you can't access multiplayer at all unless you are connected.

At least you can play by yourself ...
It will be really hard though, MP isnt designed to be soloed unless you are an Infiltrator or a really well equipped Adept.

I found it nearly impossible playing the infiltrator the few rounds I tried solo in the demo, but who knows. I'm not exactly god's gift to twitch online shooters.
Adding the capability to fill out your squad w/ AI bots or scaling difficulty by # and level of players would have made MP mode get alot more use for me. I'm generally not into playing w/ strangers on XBL either and I don't think any of of my friends are picking up ME3.

Can I at least do it with a silver account online if I don't play with others?
Who's bright idea was it to make it only playable while connected?

The multiplayer feature would've been a lot cooler if it had an offline mode where you can pause and assign commands to your 3 allies. I'm not into making friends with random people to do Gold runs.
its called single player, you should try it sometime . . :innocent:

Someone soloed gold using a Salarian infiltrator. From what I've seen of the video, it takes lots of tactics, not just 'twitch' skills.SidNitzerglobin wrote...

Engis can solo quite well using the engi drone to draw every things attention.
It doesn't quite qualify for "solo'ing" the match if you got your Combat Drone
But it indeed isn't too hard to solo even silver. I almost solo'ed silver with my Vanguard until I got gibbed by one sneaky Phantom on the tenth wave ... almost.

Well not in the fact I want to be able to play multiplayer. I could care less about it adding to the galactic readiness as much as I just want to be able to play it.warhulk616 wrote...
just do side quest instead. it equals playing mp.
Really sucks if I need a internet connection to even play it alone. Is it not on disc or what?

Does it? Thank god. I'm a sidequester anyway...I have to do EVERYTHING.
There's a pinned developer post on this forum (fifth topic from the top) that clarifies the issue. You can get every possible ending without touching MP - playing MP just, as I understand it, makes it easier as you don't have to do as many side quests.
Since I'm pretty much a completionist anyway and like to explore everything in the game, "having to do fewer side quests" isn't even a bonus to me.
