Stage 5. It's Bioware game, their universe. It that is how they wanted to end the series, then that is their choice. I didn't find any of the endings satisfing, but there isn't really anything that I can do about it other than enjoy what the game does right. Namely, everything other than the endings

All 5. . . . at the same time.

It's really REALLY painful.

Depressed.

Everything I did in the previous games and this are completely ignored in the ending, not to mention the gaping plot holes coming out of the mouth of the God-Child.

Stage 4.
Ending just confused crap out me. Like many others i planned multiple playtroughs, see no point in that now.
Bioware should announce "sane ending dlc" right now or either stop making any ME games at all, because making prequels will be just pathetic acknowledgment that they screwed whole me universe beyond repair.

Went straight to #4. Even quit early on an MP round just thinking "what's the point?"

Getting through stage 2. At first it was just my bowels that were irritable, now it's my whole self.

Stages three and four mainly, but mostly the latter. I don't think I'll be playing the game again (at least not for a while--too fresh) unless we get some DLC that includes (relatively) happy endings. It would be too painful to relive everything with the knowledge that it's all for naught. That no matter how hard you've tried or how much you metagame, you're stuck with the same heart wrenching conclusions. Can't deal. I still can't believe this is all we've been given. My Shepard and her friends deserved better than this...and so do we.

I'm just pretending that the last 10min or so of the game isn't canon <_< When I actually get that far, I'll just insert my own dialogue mentally. So far I'm at least enjoying the canon part of the game. /wishfulThinking

High five. This is how it's done.

I'm pretty sure I'm at Bargaining right now, though I feel as though I had skipped over it and went straight to 4 and 5 and only now am I considering it. I am praying for DLC endings though I've never heard of such a thing and am pretty sure it'd just be incredibly wishful thinking. But the discontent on the forums seems sincere enough, who knows?

May I add, I've always been a fan of these stages as they really are accurate and pretty much explain my feelings perfectly during Mordin's scene.

Mordin dies. . .

My god that was horrible, but everyone loves Mordin, he's not REALLY dead>Denial

WHAT THE HECK That's BULL! I secured his loyalty in ME2, talked to him at every opportunity, had him in my squad for EVERY mission since his recruitment and this is what I get?! > Angry.

I'LL RELOAD THE GAME AND KILL ALL MY SQUADMATES, PLEASE JUST GIVE ME MORDIN BACK> Bargaining.

*Cries for 5 minutes*>Depression

*Continues with the game*>Acceptance

^You didn't do anything "wrong", lol. It's not possible to have a happy ending. Bioware should have had a happy ending so that if we get a sad ending, there's an incentive for us to play again. A reason to buy the iOS games. A reason to play the multiplayer. I promise you, people looking for multiplayer action/gameplay have plenty of better options that specialize in that regard.

As it stands now, it's just varying levels of grief and sidegrades :(

It's possible to save Mordin, but you must sacrifice Wrex to do so.  You feel real dirty inside when you go that route.

As for an ending-changing DLC...  It has happened before under eerily similar circumstances, in a game called Fallout 3.  It's not too much to hope for, you just have to make sure your voice is heard.

Someone else (perhaps you?) mentioned saving Mordin in another thread, I didn't believe it at first, but I'm actually geared up to try anyway.

I love Wrex but Mordin comes first for me forever and always.

I never played Fallout 3 so thank you for the mention, there is hope afterall.

Yeah... the urge to play ME1/2/3 is depleting. Really, what a horrible way to end the trilogy.

It's not gonna happen. F3 ending is hated because people didn't want a Bethesda game that "ends" after the main quest. So they simply added few new lines to the very last minute and problem solved.

I'd like to think Bioware will make things right.  They don't even have to take out the old endings; I just want new endings that are possible when you actually play the game to its fullest.  I believe it is in their best interest, replayability is everything to a Mass Effect game.  If they won't do it for the fans, perhaps they'll do it for the money :\\

They have to change last 2 hours of the game to make it right. They should add lines with all LI and even change that whole crucible thing(morality changing deathstar wut?!). They have to take out old endings because they are ridiculous. The sole existence of the guardian turns whole ME scenario into one giant plot hole, literaly...

I liked the endings. And yet another person throwing around "plothole"......bleh.

Every game that has a story has got people up in arms about so called plotholes

ME and ME2 had plot holes as well but ME3... If you can be content with such ending then it's good for you... I guess.

I'm in the perpetual stage 4 it would seem. I can neither understand, nor accept this endings travesty, which has ruined the whole series for me, and I never will. It smells of rushed and\\or bad writing and simply does not compute with the overall quality and tone of the series. Not buying anything BW makes next time around until I see the whole plot summary on wiki.
