What exactly is the color of her skin? It's pale, yes, but from what I can tell, it seems to be a very, very light shade of purple.
Or is it the lighting that's fooling me?

She is caucasian......somehow. She reminds me of something we have back at home.

Yeah. She's pretty much a white girl with three fingers, elf ears, and pale eyes.
The Quarians are now as alien in appearance as the Bajorans.

There's more hair colors than black.
Use them.
All 5 female squadmates having the same hair color is ridiculous.

You know how in scifi, when dealing with humanoid robots, the reason why said robots were made to look human...because they were made in the image of Man, there creators. So it would then make sense for the geth to be made in the image of the quarians. After all, quarian helmets look suspiciously like geth heads.

But in Star Trek they had an excuse. There was common ancestry amongst nearly all the aliens seen in Star Trek. Several Planets were "seeded" by a single space-faring species in the distant past.

Many Star Trek 'aliens' don't look alien at all.
Which is kind of the point. The Quarians are now in the wrong Sci Fi universe. In Star Trek's defense however, many of the species share a common origin.
If this is truly how Quarians look, Bioware should go full speed ahead with the retcon and just have the Quarians be a transplanted offshoot of humanity. At least then their appearance will make sense. Not sure how'd they get around the dextro bit though...

While mass effect doesn't have that excuse. It's bad enough we have the Asari....who look so human like. But i can live with one type of space elf....but now 2? Is bioware losing there originality?

Kahlee is of average height and build; her most notable feature is shoulder-length naturally blonde hair, which, as a genetically recessive trait, has become a rarity by the 2100s.

Then again, I also don't like that they are letting us see her in this game, so my hopes weren't that high to begin with.
In the end they cancel each other out into a resounding "Meh."

which is a pretty big science fail on bioware's part, blonde hair dying out is a myth based on pseudoscience and a misunderstand on how genetics workbboynexus wrote...
You people realize few people have naturally blonde hair by the time of ME, right?

It's one of the many (many, many, many...) reasons people need to stop asking their scy-fi to be realistic.

..really? Really Bioware? We know she had squinty elf eyes and stuff but you should have at least got rid of some of the human genetics. Normal looking nose, Long beautiful dark hair? really? I really hope this isn't real ;___:
But you....DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Tali...NEEDS hair....she HAS....to look like some white human chick. In other words....she HAS TO BE HOT.
You just don't understand.....Tali was always meant to look like a human alien....it doesn't matter that is is unrealistic......or that it doesn't really make sense for an alien who has 3 fingers and chicken feet....to have a 99% human face....the fact is that is HOW tali was always meant to me. Bioware did NOT ponder to some fanbase (what a rediclous idea)....this was ALWAYS there dream.......
So leave bioware alone....TALI is just soooooooooooo gorgous!!!&!!!!!!&!!!!
.....like she was ALWAYS meant to be
TALI FOREZER

I know they've said they already had the idea of what she looked like since probably all the way back in ME1, but how can we really know that this is it?
I'm wondering if, over the course of 5+ years they changed it.

So, that guy just took WoW's night elf, cut ears off and copypasted onto quarian suit. Nice work, i say. Purple human=/=alien. I'd love to see elcor-like face on quarians just for trololo of the moment.Alchemist4 wrote...

In that artists's defense his version now looks more alien than the version in game.
Sad to say, but the above would be an improvement.
