You can still play renegade. Then in time she will get those scars back.

but this is a bug no?with the patch day one fixes this and the codes of faces ME1?

I dunno, six months detained on earth with access to a hospital and no opportunity to dismantle galactic integrity through irresponsible use of force could have something to do with your glowing (or, specifically NOT glowing) complexion. I'm told that the scarring system's back, so once you get back into the swing of things I'm sure you'll look messed up as ever.

Seeing as your scars are dependent on how many Renegade points you have, and those renegade points are reset at the start of the game (presumably a small portion will be granted as a bonus, just like in ME2), that would be why you currently have no scars (it's no different from doing a NG+ in ME2).

If you want to post about the completely normal issue you are having in the Technical Support forum, you will need to register your game via the online pass...

but remember the words of Bioware "you imported a face of renegade shepard and have the scars and red eyes in the game of  ME3" and this no happen....

shepard lose the scars and red eyes for drink a magic potion ?

Now I'm no expert in cybernetics nor a doctor but as someone posted before one would assume that when detained (which I'm sure they'd need to do a medical on you much like Saddam Hussain) and then discharged, you would have had the long awaited medical attention you needed, as flesh slowly deteriorating on top of your cybernetic implants cannot be healthy for you.

That said i can understand why it is frustrating to you and others. I too have a femshep renegade, and although I choose to heal her scars prior to her night of calibrating garrus' thanx cannon, I would like to see the scars reappear as I once again make negative choices. At at the same time I would find it frustrating if minor scars appeared on my paragon shep unless some minor canonical reason like the one i provided was given.(or made up myself for my "head canon").

I imagine that again like someone else has posted, because the reputation system has completely change, your score has reset albeit with a bonus towards the red side. This is not so much then a problem with your face code, which I assume does not take into account the scars, but the fact that Bioware has not giving a high enough starting bonus to make the scars more prominent.Again however ,that is because boosting your rep too much would probably be "game breaking" if i understand how the new version works.

In short sorry bro you might be sh!t outta luck on that one, but I hope they patch it for you. If not go out there and be a massive b with an itch till your eyes glow so red you shoot laser outta them

Yeah, probably the reset of the Renegade points reset the face.

Is the day 1 patch even out yet?

Though I'd imagine if it carried over from ME2, eventually you'd look like the human Reaper with all of ME3's renegade choices on-top of the maximum scarring from ME2.

I´ve been playing for a few hours, and the scars are still a feature, but you have to level up your renegade side in order to see them, just like ME2.

Same here. I was default in 1 and 2 and when I import it into 3 it's not the default face. Damn it Bioware.

It makes sense that Shepard's scars would be treated on Earth. But the way that the scars showed up in the marketting left the impression that they'd stay.

Disappointing! My Renegade had awesome Christmas eyes, green and glowy red

I had a feeling early announcements wouldn't make the final cut. But that is what gibbed save editor is for, I guess,

Someone needs to edit the con.ini file to max out renegade and see if the scars come back?
