Emily Wong was at the Citadel in the leaked script. When they said "they'll change stuff from the leaked script" they meant they'll cut stuff to make the game quicker and cheaper.

I think I am... I can't tell reporters apart as they're all generally terrible at their jobs.

What else would she do? She was mortally wounded and would've died anyway, or worse and turned into a husk. Her act, as insignificant as it was, probably registered as barely enough of a distraction to save someone's life in order for them to escape.dw99027 wrote...
