Emily has been a staple of the past two games. To reveal that she is not due to being killed is most definitely a spoiler because she isn't going to be here. Spoilers pertain to the game. This was on the Alliace News Feed. So it's ok.

It's NOT a spoiler. It's right there on the public Alliance News feed for everyone to see. It's very unfortunate and shocking like a spoiler is, I agree, but the label of "spoiler" is just not proper terminology.

Worst of all, though, there's no telling if it'll even come up in game with this Chobot character.

2. If Emily being dead is a spoiler, so is Batarans flooding the Sol system. You know, the stickied thread at the top of the forum? It's part of BioWare's set-up for the game.

Spoiled what? She has no in-game appearance. Wong has been replaced by Chobot's character.

Would you have preferred a half-ass two second mention of her death on a news boradcast while wandering around the Citadel? Neither would I.

"Oh, she's dead? Darn. I wonder when and how it happened? Guess I'll never know."

There is nothing to spoil. This is why Wong is out and Chobot is in.

You guys are doing a disservice to yourselves by not following Bioware's marketing. Avoiding trailers is fine but don't ignore the good stuff like ANN posts and twitter feeds that build up to the actual game.
