so i bough mass effect on origin, i tough i could change the game
language when ive got my game, but its look like i cant, i bough it on
the program and not on the website i didint saw any option to buy it in
french, so now im stuck with a english game, is there a way i can
download all the french language or something? cause its really s***
right now, everytime i buy a game from bioware usually have the french
option in it... so did i just lose 70$ for a game i cant even set the
language? is there anyway to change my english version for a french one, i dont know, any help would be appreciate

plz tell me i didint ! :S

i tried to contact origin but i cant find any link to email them exept the freaking faq thing, and i just dont know what to do ....

Any plan on making a patch for people in my situation that buy the game with origin and got ''fuc?&%$** up with the ip language thing?

and not abble to play the game with the language they speak or want?

This sounds like a customer service issue, not an in-game support issue. I think you need to try again with EA and explain that you were *sold* the wrong language edition. I am assuming your language in Origin is set to "French"?

yes it is, and they cant help me, belive me ive been on phone with them for over 2 hours. they have no way to set the game in french, they even logged into my origin to try themself, everything is set in french origin, subtitle in game but i cant change the language

the only thing i think could help is getting thoose french file
and they dont own the game cause they are custommer support not game support , i even asked him to check about this ip/region thing, its totally stupid.. i live in america yes, but in quebec , where we 99.9% speak french :S i wanna play the game, without watching the bottom of my screen to read, and not ''play/watch the cutscene''

i understand bioware already have alot of stuff to do with bug, but buying a game you cant even understand/play is  as annoying and sad to not be abble to play it cause you cant open it ... if you can check anything that could help me out, i promised infinite loyalty to bioware

PS: even when you check ''french'' on ea/origin, in your chart it said ''english america'' so its not about me not buying the good product''

its about this ip/region thing
And from what ive been reading, alot of people are having the same issue then i do !

You need to talk to a supervisor and if that does not help a manager. When you call support.  Customer service can help you with this.  Wroste case they can refund the money.  If they claim they cant that is what talking to the boss man is for.

um.... so everything is presented in french on the bottom in subtitles.....

but your expecting the voice actors to speak in french?

yes they have, since ive been abble to get thoose french file! thats why i told that if they were some people with there game stuck in english and wanted it to be in french just pm me, and since ive been in a total hell to get what i wanted , i wanted to share with the community
