Is there such a thing as a spec chart comparing N7 gears with the standard stuffs? I've searched a bit but alas it's all I do; I don't find...

If there's such a thing, Would throw a link my way? That'd be nice. Otherwise i'll be pouting over there.

ty. ( What I am really asking is how the N7 sniper (Valiant?) compares to the likes of Viper or even Widow.

*Possible Spoilers*

The only gun I have a bone to pick with is the N7 Valkyrie rifle. The vindicator has ALMOST the same stats as it at half the weight. Makes it to better to carry the vindicator, unless you're into everything N7 gear, like otaku.

So.... where did that N7 rifle come from again?

I like the N7 pistol, whatever its called. It has a good rate of fire and okay damage for a holdout weapon. Though I prefer to use the Chakram Launcher over everything else, it is just insane :)

i hate the M55 Argus assault rifle
i dont like the burst shot of it, much rather prefer single-shot for precise sniping

The N7 SMG is useless due to the recoil. Way too hard to control.

It's impossible to control at longer engagement ranges. And using the scope just makes it terrible. But if I'm around cover, doing blindfire it's remarkably easy to control at medium or close range.

It's mostly good for some guy being straight in front of you no more than 5 feet so it's impossible to miss.  Really limited usage in general though as even at medium range the recoil is way too much.

I don't think the recoil is exclusive to it, either. The SMG in the demo was pretty bad. All SMGs may have the problem to justify their lower weight compared to assault rifles.

True, but the other SMGs tend to have less recoil.

The shotgun's as heavy as a Claymore and weaker than the Katana

The N7 sniper rifle is good for the first part about the same stats as the viper maybe a little more dmg, but mantis is better.

I really like the pistol (Eagle) as well. It has good damage and rate of fire. On top of that it is accurate and has good capacity. The SMG does have wild recoil, but also has a decent capacity and with short bust is good against shields. The shotgun is to heavy to be useful; I have been using the Raider instead. I'm playing as a vanguard, so I haven't tried the sniper rifle yet.

The pistol is prob the best out of them...although a stabilizer and weight reduction made the smg pretty sweet too.

From what I've tried, I really really really HATE the Argus. The VIndicator is an even better rifle. The Valkyrie's better than it but not by a long-shot. And I agree with Saint Op: I absolutely ADORE the N7 Eagle! The Crusader and Hurricane are also godly.

Argus sucks.

Using the vindicator.

I wish Mattock was back.

I'm surprised so many like the eagle; from what I've experienced so far, it's really kind of underpowered, certainly nothing like the phalanx it supposedly was developed from. It's rate of fire is almost SMG-like, however, so I suppose that holds some appeal. The hurricane SMG, though - despite its kick, it chews up baddies at short to intermediate range like a boss. Loving it so far.

You have to aim lower when firing the smg. The feet is a good aiming point for shielded or armor targets to get a full burst. I hope there is a anti-recoil SMG upgrade some where. I know there is one for assault rifles. I had one for Multi-player. So I'm pretty sure there is a SMG one.

Actually the stats between vindicator and valkyrie has a difference that is so miniscule that you won't feel any difference, except for the weight of the valkyrie which is twice as much.

And I believe the smg is to be used when enemy is close  because of its fast firing rate but horrible recoil, in place of a close range shotgunPosted Image

It's interesting (and kinda good) that this time round the bonus weapons aren't horribly overpowered.

BioWare is learning?

The Crusader is great with a soldier's AR at short or med range, with max damage barrell + inferno ammo you can one shot (head shot) a fully armored opponent.
