When importing save from previous game it said that I had no RI for ME2, I'm wondering if that's got something to do with completing LotSB after the main story.

I had the same problem, when she ask shepard about them, she said years and not months! (and shepard reunited with her in LOTSB, like they never reunited in ME2)

Same thing happened to me. I hope it doesn't affect the rest of their conversations. :/ I wouldn't know since I have remained nearly spoiler free.
Does anyone know if I start over again, will it fix things or should I just wait for a patch? Drat, I've already got so far in this game.

in ME2... liara doesn't count as a romance option even if you take her all the way after the LOTSB.... this is a known issue/lack of forsight by bioware in the me2 game itself.
Far as i can see, if you romanced her in ME1 and then had no romance in ME2.. this applies the non-competitive romance flag meaning you won't have a standoff between 2 different romances and liara will not have to have a dispute with you and another.

Yes but I romanced Liara in the first game, and Miranda in the 2nd game..and when I imported my game into 3, said I romanced Liara in 1 and NO ONE in 2. : ( I wanted to play with that bit of tension in the game...I wouldn't mind starting the game over again, but I'd like to know if there is a fix coming so I don't sit around waiting for something that isn't coming.
