Really all they'd need is a hires pack for the armors/clothing the rest of the game looks great, but insignia on Anderson's uniform makes me want to claw my eyes.

(Possibly spoilers)

I beg to differ. :/
These shadows and textures are horrible, especially on characters who are not white. I really don't remember the graphics being this bad in the previous games.

Another vote for high-res textures and better shading(or whatever helps stuff look better in the shadows) from here.

I have faith in Bioware. They released a hi-res pack for DA2, and other games like Crysis and Skyrim have done it recently too. Bioware aren't all bad. I mean they did make the Mass Effect series, and the reason we're all here is because we probably enjoyed it a lot at some point :)

There's been so much negative feedback from the community after the proverbial storm that was the release that maybe they'll do it in good faith

I really hope we will see something from bioware. I really like the graphics of the game, but why do epic scenes like the level 1 rescue by the normandy have to be made so awkward, because you can count every pixel on the normandy. I don´t understand.

Yeah I am with people on this one. I am getting sick of seeing asari dresses look like they were made from DX7 textures. Well considering the dresses look the SAME in quality since ME 1, I'd expect they got around to them and made them better by ME3. So where are textures???

MAYBE there will be a texture pack. Something around 12.99 USD or so. Wouldn't it be great? Aaaaah, we love you, GreedyWare.

Oh, and by the way, on a matter of developers, that are such great people-persons. So, friends, how do you like your detachable helmets after all the rant in ME2?

What really bugs me is, that the fine details (like markings on uniforms and such) get slurred,
like they did in the "low quality" Graphics setting of Me1.

Also those blurred Textures cast me right into uncanny valley, as they did really good Work with the Facial Animations.
(Still, LA. Noire...)

But what could we expect from a game Cross-Developed for a Platform having whopping 512mb RAM

I'm one of the biggest graphics ****s on this website, and I say that while the game may not have textures as detailed and as high rez as Witcher 2 or Crysis 2, it's a MASSIVE improvement over Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

The game for all intensive purposes is very pretty, and I've found the textures to be detailed enough so that they do not distract as much as they did in the previous games.

I'm pretty sure ME3 uses the same dynamic texture scaling like ME2, but with much more variance.  The game will look much better on PC due to larger amounts of VRAM, than it does on consoles.

The only thing cooler than intensive purposes are intense porpoises!

New consoles can't get here soon enough so that they can stop holding back game development for the PC for a while.

@ Alien
As far as I know, the next XBox/PS4 won't arrive before 2013 :-(
(Except for the WiiU, YMMV though)

Also, we'll just start nagging about the missing DX 14 Features in the Upcoming MassEffect Spinoff part 1

Hahaha, yet that was pretty bad lol
Overall game looks good, but this makes obvious flaws like that stand out ever more :P

I played the game for less than ten minutes before exiting in disgust of this horribly ugly looking excuse for a PC port (lip synching, lighting, textures, AA, FOV).

Dare I say Duke Nukem Forever even had more polish?

There was some other thread about using the NVIDA inspector and going along increasing the quality that way.

Seems to have improved the look overall, only problem with me is I get dead flashing pixels, or something, every now and again.

God yes! The skyboxes need to be fixed. They are an insult to the beautiful skyboxes from Mass Effect 1.

Yeah, please Bioware. Especially the backgrounds, painfully low res. Stars on Noveria are very poor.

Have there been any news recently? I remember reading about a high res texure pack before the lauch, though I don't remember if it was an official announcement.
I have some time right now and wanna start another playthrough, but some textures are very ugly, especially the male hands and some clothes.

Someone with a Bioware-badge on these forums promised a high-res texture pack, I remember it a few days before launch. All a bunch of lies I presume?
