Just dont buy stuff in-game. Buy points here at BioWare Social, and buy DLC in the Origin shop when you're not in a game.

Read this topic too late. Tried paypal through origin and got the same result. Charged and no points.

So where can I go to bother someone about that?

edit: scratch that. took longer or somebody fixed.

Just fell victim to this scam this morning. They take my money and I get nothing in return. I had a nice chat with a non-english speaking machine on Origin's Live Chat help, but he was utterly worthless and didn't even understand; he just gave a few copy/paste answers. He told me to wait a another 24 hours and see if they show up.

I'm done with Origin.

Same thing happened to me. €6,97 was charged from my PayPal account (to which I had already transferred the required money), there is zero euros left, yet according to my profile and Origin I have no BW points. I tried three times before I finally was able to find the damn "pay" button, after which Origin and the game crashed, throwing me out. I have three "Unconfirmed" in my Origin payments record, which makes me fear that I'm going to end up charged for more than what I intended to pay.

I don't know whether there is a delay in getting the BW points, but I am seriously angry. The old system (with the ME 2 DLCs) worked just fine. Why did they have to ruin it? To paraphrase Isu, who do I call to bother with this?!

EDIT: Ok, I too got the 800 points, and used them to purchase the DLC. Fine... except now, I apparently have to register on Alliance Network in order to activate it, whatever the h*ll that means!

At least I got it, though I still have the fear of being overcharged.:crying::lol::crying:

Seems like a common issue purchasing DLC. I'm thinking of purchasing the DLC for myself through Origin, though, I'm having hard time trying to figure out why I couldn't type via the In-Game web browser at all.

I'll wait until this issue is resolved while trying to figure out why.

Got this issue today. Tried to buy points and the server crashed. The money was taken however. I take it noone has gotten any help on this issue?
