I just named mine Meowmeow. I figured if I spent too much time thinking about it, I'd never get past the "name your dog!" screen. For some reason, all I could think of were cat names.

Garma. It feels kind of like a noble's name. I think it originated somewhere in Final Fantasy VI, for one of the canine foes you can encounter.
