Yes it is, was playing it just before DA:O, though you might want to try out some of the mods to get the most out of it.  Baldur's Gate 1 particularly benefits from Baldur's Gate Tutu in order to get it running using the Baldur's Gate 2 engine so you can use the higher resolutions and get the game running at a decent speed (since the first one was slow).

i nammed mine "Bukkake" because i got tired of namming every companion animal i can name in games "bonghit".

i think i would fear a dog nammed Bukkake not because they will bite me, its what else they will do to me that i would be worried about-

im sure there is a behavior related reason an owner would name a dog bukkake.
