Haven't gotten the codes yet. When should we be expecting the pre-order item codes in the mail? The same day we are allowed to play or before that? Really looking forward to getting the e-mail with the Argus, Valkyrie, Defender and Raider but I'm starting to get a bit worried.

Still haven't gotten pre order codes here. I pre ordered the digital deluxe through Origin, have gotten everything else, but have yet to see an email for the AT12 Raider shotgun and  M55 Argus rifle.

It would've been nice if it said on Origin how you obtain the pre-order items. I assumed they would be added automatically to my BioWare account, but now it seems EA has to send you codes. I just hope they send them on releaseday here in Europe. It stings if you already have the game, but cannot use these items.

I haven't gotten the code yet.  I also haven't gotten the physical copy of the game I had ordered from Origin, so it might be bundled with that.  But I would think that the code could be distributed digitally, or even just attached to my Origin account.

I picked up my N7 edition this morning and entered the online pass code and haven't been able to download From Ashes or the rest of my items yet.

No Origin codes for my DDE pre-order either. Definitely was charged for it on Friday and unlocked last night.

I wound up grabbing one of the physical PC CE copies that showed up on GameStop.com yesterday afternoon. Placed my order @ ~4:30PM w/ overnight shipping and it was delivered @ 11:04AM EST today, received pre-order N7 Warfare code 20 minutes after the package was delivered. Get it together EA...

I received confirmation that I was charged and received the serial number for the game itself, but nothing for the pre-order stuff (ordered through Origin).

They don't have the game early it's you who has the game late. And yes when you spend money on something you're entitled to it.

I'm not really that bent out of shape, it's a couple of virtual guns.  

However, considering that when you placed a pre-order w/ Origin it plainly stated that you would receive pre-order incentive in-game items, I would say this is a case where one is actually fully justified feeling entitled.

I got the email from Origin with the codes for the dlc's but .... I don't have my preorder PERIOD! They sent me the shipment notice and took my money and yet, no game has arrived. Trying to find any details on what they use for shipping is pointless on the website and trying to find something to contact them and ask "what gives" is hair pulling. My mailman has already delivered for the day but I seriously don't think (even in this slow-ass southern state) that it would take more than 3 days to deliver first class. Best case scenario, my game should have arrived yesterday, and at the latest, been here today.

I'm getting a little upset because EA deducted my money and I have NO PACKAGE!

I've been led to beleive that there should be codes emailed to the address associated w/ your Origin account, at least for the DDE. 

Would have made more sense to me if they were just directly activated on that account and made available for download either through the Origin client, XBL, PSN, or  BSN but ???

I started playing a pre-ordered standard digital edition last night.

I didn't get any codes via email.

I contacted Origin support this morning and they gave me the codes. Had no problem once I got the codes. 
(Took quite a while of sitting here while they sifted through who-knows-what. And I got disconnected twice.)

I think the majority of the people who ordered via Origin haven't received their pre-order codes. Myself included (Digital Deluxe Edition). But since I'm currently in Europe (Oh how I hate IP based location "services") the official release is quite delayed. (Fun fact: The mail from EA Origin claims it releases on March 7th, the Unlock/Decrypt Tool claims it is March 8th, your web-site March 9th.)

Looking through this forum it seems that some did receive their pre-order codes via mail. But the delay is quite random and the information policy on the pre-order codes next to non-existing.
EA Support Staff is even stating that the pre-order bonus does not apply to the standard edition, which slightly contradicts your FAQ on your website: www.masseffect.com

I'm sorry to say this, but the fragmentation of the game wasn't one of the brightest ideas... ;-/

P.S.

I'm also not quite sure why it would be necessary for Origin Users to receive an e-mail first to redeem those codes again in Origin. I mean Origin should already know who has ordered the game via Origin, and when. Just add the content - which isn't reall much - to the account and we can just go back to play the game...

I actually went onto EA's help, and got in a live chat, and the guy actually helped me. I now have the Argus and Raider in my redeemed promotional page. They are really helpful if you've got the patience and are calm when you talk to them.

I have not received the code for either the the origin pre order guns. And I have the right email because I got the email for the sales. The ore install of the game and the email that the game was released at midnight. No codes in any of those emails.
