Heh. I've found the solution!
It's very simple. Just create a new Windows User (with administration rights). Don't change anything. The default path for My Documents should be on drive C: now in default folder.
Launch MassEffect3Config.exe and MassEffect3 itself under this new user.
Finally enjoy the game!
I hope I'm clear enough. Tell me if it doesn't work.

I have two hard drives. I fear that the same thing will happen.

Oh well. A friend is helping me do W's route. I'll try yours next.

I too have 2 hard drives. Still helped.
It seems to be glitching only when the route to the "My Documents" folder isn't default and it has nothing to do with HDs.
Creating new user takes 1 minute. Very fast and easy way.

Ah finally! Thank you so much Morden. Yes i have two hardrives, C: and H:. The game files are on H: in my new user, and the document files are in C:, and it works perfectly. Now I can enjoy this amazing game.

Sadly, this did not work. I think I'm just going to go through ME2 again, beat it, save it separately again, and see what happens.

Had the same problem since release, but I took a different approach to fix it.
Seems  my problem was a disparity from the Library Location of the "My Documents" file (which is where the Bioware/Mass Effect 3/Saves  is. The game would create this Mass Effect 3/Saves files always under the actual library location of My Documents. The problem was that under the Documents library, when right clicking and selecting properties to modufy the location of the library, it was different from the actual location that windows had for the My Documents Folder, like so:
Library Location for Documents (modified by  me by editing the  " Libary Locations option when right clicking and selecting properties" E:\\My Documents"
System Location for My Documents E:\\  you can see and correct this by:
Hit Windows Start, Click under your User name, there you will see all your libraries, right click on My Documents and Select Properties, selec the Location Tab, there you will see the actual location in which windows has your My Documents folder.
To correct the problem, I changed the location from E:\\  to
E:\\My Documents. It may ask you to create the Folder since it may not exist, do so, it will also ask you if you want to move all your files to the new location, I selected no, because otherwise I would get an error message. After that is done I deleted the Mass Effect Folder that contained the Saves folder completely, then ran the MassEffect3Config.exe (under your install location which for me is in the H drive), this will generate a new Bioware\\Mass Effect 3\\Saves folder in your My Documents Folder, and viola, ready to play and Save/Load your games.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

@MrCorvin: sorry to hear that, but are we talking about the same problem? What ME2 has to do with saves in ME3? Maybe we can figure our something.
Same for Arthas-Sama.

Ok, from the beggining (also, english isn't my first language so... sorry in advance for it).

First: I start the game, and import my ME2 savegame to continue with my character, it loads perfectly, appearance, abilities, all of them.
Second: I played through the intro and when you take control of Shepard, tried to save. It makes the "look, I'm saving" thingy, but when I go to "LOAD" there is nothing.
Third: During the game, when I hit the save button in the menu, the game has no date but it has current play time.

Additional info:
-My documents folder is now in E:, but it was before in D: so now, all my savegames are in D: (my game hard drive) And no other game complained about it.
-I wrote the route myself in the GamerSetting.ini

EDIT: I've got it running and saving.

This are the steps I've followed:
-Uninstalled ME3 and Origin.
-Installed both and download the N7 Edition Stuff + update
-Activate cloud saving
-I did the other profile method and, picked up the save and pasted in my profile.
-Start the game and origin prompted some message about sync the cloud game, I hit the upper one (sorry, I don't remember the text)
-When the menu shows up... a WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS and BEAUTIFUL "Continue" shows up too. Now the game saves normally :D

I hope this helps someone :)

Hi,

there is a quick fix for this. It also happened in ME2 if you installed the game on a different partition than the one which contains your "My Documents" folder.

See this thread for the solution: http://social.biowar...9683310#9700261
