Ok whats happens when you DONT import an old ME1 & 2 game and you play ME3? I have been playing it for 2 hours and I have YET to see anything that lets me pick what happened durring ME1 & ME2. HOw long do I need to play before I am ask like the PS3 version or even the PC/XBOX360 version of Mass Effect 2. I am playing the PC version of ME 3 and I downloaded it using Origin. ALso all this " pre-order bonus" crap I never got.
So what gives.

Uhm, the perks of importing is you have your choices. If you start fresh, no choices, it's all pre-selected for you like in ME1 and 2. Sorry, but that's how it is. If they release DLC later on, like they did with ME2 Genesis, then I could see you picking choices from the previous games, but as for now, it's a default setup for new Shepards.

Play it and find out. The game came out 3 hours ago. Almost everyone playing now will be diehard ME fans, ergo will be importing characters.

As of Gamespy review:
"By default, Wrex and Kaidan died on Virmire, Shepard killed the rachni queen, and the council died in Sovereign's attack on the Citadel. From ME2, only Mordin, Garrus, Tali, Miranda, and Jacob are left standing. (Tragically, Shepard never got any action in either game.)"
