Just find a way to play a bit of the game before deciding if its for you or not.

Oh wait, cause they have a valid point.
I'd write why but I'm afraid I can't because I'm auto-posting.

Right and i assume you have gone through 30 odd play hours already right? completed it and marvelled at the credits at the end? or is this just another one of those, jump to conclusion from 2 hrs of gameplay?

I laughed. Then, I cried on the inside.
Because its true. Throughout the over fours hours I've played I keep thinking "Why the hell can I even make decisions? They don't even matter, and Shepard drowns out anything I did anyway."

Metacritic user scores influence the parent companies drastically, some refusing to throw large budgets at the company or others refusing to pay until the score goes above XX.

No game is perfect, but that doesn't mean no game ever deserves a perfect score. Otherwise, there'd be no point in having a maximum score at all.
-Nope.... I agree completely. But a maximum score should be reserved for those games that have everything or at least most everything down to pat. Giving ME3 a 10/10 seems to be "too much fanboi". That doesnt help either. Especially if later reviews water the game down. Then the 10/10 becomes pointless.

Have you never read how low meta critic scores impact on sales? Quite a large % of game buyers don't believe reviews and are guided by user scores.

I've watched from start to near finish (and I've seen the "final battle" and the endings), I've read the script and I've played until past Mars (which isn't that far in but meh).
And I haven't marvelled at the credits and the end because that's the worst part.

They are just bunch of people who don't even play the game (or even start) completely. Wait until the real ratings comeup then these negative values will be nothing.

Guess I don't know what I'm talking aboot.
So you watched it and read the script before fully playing the game?
Call me old fashioned but that'd take the edge off the experience for me...

I think major sites will go easy on ME3 just to fit with the fanbase and not to gat a backlash from the reader and communities alike.
They have their own opinions. The problem is clearly they don't match yours so instead of respecting their opinions, you're coming up with reasons why their opinions are less valid than yours. Which is, as I wrote, bulls***. At least your attempt at an explination is better than "OMG EA gives $$$hatz."

While I definitely don't agree with targeted mass low-votes such as this, I can understand peoples frustration. I'm sure it has to do mainly with the import bug. Can you really blame them? Did BioWare think that by ignoring the pleas of their fans (for well over a week now) that this glaring flaw would be overlooked and swept under the rug? Yes, blame lies with the people responsible for this undeserved low rating, but I think some of the blame also lies with BioWare IMO. They had the power to curb some of the panic but they didn't. Long time fans feel betrayed and rightfully so.
All BW needed to do was say something; a few words acknowleding this issue. Anything at all, but BioWare has neglected to do so. As far as I'm concerned BioWare has made their bed, and with all do respect Mr. Woo, I will definitely be more guarded when it comes to future purchases from your company. I sincerely hope that both sides have learned something positive out of this kerfuffle. That's all I have to say about that.

I think those "parent companies" are solely concerned with the reviews from professional critics, not the user reviews.

Glad I did, saved me from spending money on it (got it for free, non-piracy).
And that's kind of irrelevent to the auto-dialogue.

So basically you are judging an interactive medium by just "watching and reading". Someting like judging whether a movie is bad or good by reading in script.

I'm judging an interactive medium by watching and reading how uninteractive it is, how dare I question how there's barely any dialogue prompts. I need to watch auto-dialogue to see how uninteractive it is.
