 I have recently purchased a physcial copy of Mass Effect 3 for PC. I have installed the game, and it is currently displayed as installed in Origin. However, when I run the game, the computer attempts load, then after a few seconds stops loading, and nothing happens. No error messages seem to pop up or anything, and no running applications are displayed through Task Manager. Can anyone assist me?

Are you running a x64 or an x86 version of the software? There seems to be some real wonkiness with the x64 version on Win7 Boxes for some reason. I have been having the same issue with my x64 system.

I am going to assume the X86 version, since that is where the game is installed.

Ah, well, is your system an x64 or x86 (is it a 64 bit system or 32 bit version of Windows)? The installer dropped it into a x86 folder for me as well, even though I have a x64 OS. If you are like me, it is possible that because it is looking for a x64 version of the exe and one wasn't installed, Origin could be spinning its wheels while trying to load unexistant software. That is my theory as of now...

Yes, I'm currently running Windows 7 64-bit. Is there a way to get the software running in x64?

Yes, any info on this issue would be a big help. I belive that my issue is a 64 vs 32 bit app issue. I have 64 bit Windows 7 and when I attempt to launch ME3 I get an error message about 64 bits vs 32 and then it craps out. This is very disappointing.

I'm trying to run the game, and only seeing it pop up in the task manager, but it doesn't DO anything.

Running 64 bit Win7, and have updated Origin, as well as the game updates it kept throwing at me. Even tried opening the game from the exe in the binaries folder, and nothing happens.

=/ Rather distraught about this.
