A quick update on my visit to the Gamestop store.

The folks at Gamestop were already aware of the issue with the PC pre-order codes, as a number of people have already come in to get replacement codes, as well as being in contact with Bioware/EA and had plenty of replacements.

So I simply turned in my original code card that I got yesterday, got a replacement code card, went to redeem it on BSN and the code worked! Now the N7 Warfare Gear is showing up in my registered game content.

Now I just have to wait until I get home and double-check on Origin or in-game whether this code also granted the M55 Argus Assault Rifle as I'm not seeing a separate entry for it under the registered game content.  But I do believe that the Gamestop pre-order code already includes the M55 Argus, as evidenced by my attempts on Origin yesterday.

So hopefully everyone who's experiencing issues with Gamestop PC codes can get replacements, as they are aware of the existing problem (at least here in Canada).

Which codes didn't work: N7 Warfare Gear code, printed on Gamestop receipt. Origin returns as invalid, BW Social returns as already used.

EDIT: My local Gamestop was kind enough to print me another code, which worked when entered into BW Social!

On Origin it says code has already been used, on Bioware it says code not recognized.

Loading screen opens fine, but have not started playing ME3 as I want to import an ME2 save which I haven't finished playing.

Hope BioWare can fix this. The people who work at the GameStop near me are kind of pretentious jerks... because you know, they work at a video game store... they're just difficult to deal with when it comes to anything that isn't a straight up purchase transaction.

*edit:  removed a bit of frustrated ramblings.  This is kind of a major failing I'm hoping bioware/EA fixes this soon and it'd be nice if they made up for the unnecessary frustration caused by this someway.
