Alright, I followed all the intstructions on the cards, redeemed the "N7 Warfare Gear" and "M55 Argus Assault Rifle" on social.bioware.com/redeem, redeemed the code for "From Ashes" that came with the Collector's Edition on Origin, replaced the Origin launcher with the correct, up-to-date build, and upon firing up ME3:

"Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC. Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement"

Except I'm on the same account as I've done everything with and the launcher shows all the pre-order DLCs have been successfully associated with the game. What's failing to be authorized here? A DLC or the fact my copy is a collector's edition?

Ah, didn't see your post in the search results, but yes, same problem. Game passed the release check date, so it shouldn't be date-related...

O... kay. Bloody hell, found the solution. The game keeps telling you the solution is to log into the correct account, but the REAL problem is the Collector Edition files are out of date/corrupted/not installed despite Origin saying it's installed/evil ponies.

The fix: in the Origin launcher, click on the information button for Mass Effect 3, right click "N7 Collector's Edition Materials", then click "Check for updates". It should download a 50MB~ patch.

Still can get the KoA weapon and armor. All the rest is loaded.

Log in with the same account you used to redeem your code in Origin or with the account you used to access the BioWare Social Network website.
Allow the DLC to download and install.
Run Mass Effect 3.
Start a new game or load an existing one.
The in-game items will be available once you gain access to the Normandy after completing the game’s prologue.
The items will appear on the Weapon Bench or in the Armor Locker located on the Normandy.

Tell me if it works for you!

There was never a code for KoA. After I got done with the demo the weapon and armor just showed up in Cerberus Network. When you click on more info the instructions show up but no button to download them. the soundtrack has download button but nothing else. And N7 Warfare Pack just alittle bit ago loaded up in Origin.
and my acccounts are linked together.

I'll start playing to see if they are there. I hope so.

Ok I just did this. So do I re-redeem the code at the bioware social network website?

Shouldn't have to, since this particular content should automatically be redeemed once you enter the Collector's Edition key into Origin during installation.

Thank you, seriously, thank you. I was seriously getting annoyed, since I didn't want to waste time fooling around with that monkey business when I want to play.

Check your firewall settings maybe they are blocked that's why you can't connect to the EA servers.

Yeah not to mention that authorizing the DLC in game is so stupid.

I bought the deluxe edition on Origin and the DLC are installed and ready to go and associated to my profile. How many authorizations should i have?I payed for the DLC and the extra goodies but i cannot use it just because my internet connection keep failing on connecting to the EA servers IN-game. This is really stupid i do not care about multiplayer i just want my DLCs unlocked. Yes i checked my firewall and both Origin and ME3.exe are exceptions.

I'm having the same problem with the From Ashes DLC. I've updated it, reinstalled it, no bloody luck at all.

Still not having any success. I've tried updating the materials and reinstalling the dlc. No dice.

They only just patched my release date check problem too.
I'm not happy with Bioware right now.

Do u get access to the DLC weapons (especialy the ones from ME2) only when you're actually on the normandy? I'm on the mars mission and only the N7 weapons and the indra are showing up... In ME2 you had to read the mail from ilusive guy before getting access to them...

i preordered ME3 along with from ashes dlc (not the collectors edition, like the OP) and i get the same error message when ME3 starts:
unable to authorize the listed DLC from ashes...
anyone know how to fix this? its getting really frustrating paying for my content and not being able to play it...

I had that problem too, and in my case it was the Windows firewall blocking the authorization (Win7 x64). I had to explicitly allow internet access for both masseffect3.exe and origin.exe in the Windows firewall settings.

Funny thing is, while masseffect3.exe did actually ask for access, the Windows pop-up never appeared for origin.exe, so I had to add that manually. Problem never appeared again afterwards.
