Ravagers are fine, one clip of Black Widow and they are a goner. Takes like 5 seconds. Banshees...they have health equal to 20-30 YMIR Mechs from ME2

Isn't there, like, 6 Banshees on one round on gold?

Me and one other person, just using Biotic explostion can kill a banshee pretty fast, they are not that hard, just need to know when to runRiceygringo wrote...

I just hope they don't nerf the Banshee's frequent insta kill abilities. They won't be scary anymore if they can't kill someones ass when they get cocky and try to melee her, it would be like playing Dead Space on super casual mode.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or has discussed it yet, and I don't know if it's an AI glitch like the "brute versus combat drone" thing, but for what it's worth...
On a vanguard, you can charge and immediately roll backwards to bait them into doing their grab/instant kill animation. They'll whiff the grab melee, and if you're a human and evolved nova for radius you can follow up the roll with a nova for damage. Just, whatever you do don't charge again until their grab animation is over, and don't do it in a laggy multiplayer match -- the margin for error on that is practically inexistent.

The main problem with Banshees is their heavy health, fast movement and big numbers. They simply require too much firepower to kill.
It's not fun hacking a terminal with 4 banshees sitting ontop of you... >.<

I've seen a lot of players break out of the Banshee death grip. I don't know if that's mentioned yet in this thread. I don't know all the skills involved but I thought I saw a teammates Turian Sentinel activate his tech armor, the burst separated him and the banshee.
I'm talking about the Banshee grabbing them and having her hand in their torso already, but they still got out.

I play a Human Vanguard. Atlas, Phantoms, Geth Primes, Brutes, and Ravagers all fall to the might of ChargeNova.
Against Banshees, I run like hell.

Yeah, that sounds correct.
It only seems like 6 because there's also 2 Brutes and 4 Ravagers running around at the same time.
Hence why on Reaper-Gold, I find it usually better to camp as far away from the LZ as possible, then at the last minute sprint to the LZ and hope they can't follow you in time.

The Reapers are atrociously off (Harder) from Cerberus on Silver (assuming on Gold too). They are far more prominent and territory-gaining than Cerberus.
It's not just the Banshees, take last wave, for instance:
All the brutes, combined with husks. What werre they thinking? A few Guardians, centurions and Altas are no match compared to the Reapers.

She would be insanely creepy when there are two banshees at the same time chasing your ass out in silver. Even worse in gold difficulty

I think the single player experience has greatly helped me understand them more, they are now just regular mob fitting in with the other creeps in my book.
The less you're bothered by their creepiness, the easier they become. Because, it's obviously pointless to run away.
