Looks like the problem wasn't fixed. I just got into this mess about 1 hr ago. Feeling weird and i started searching the forum and I found this topic about resetting items. Weekend is here and i am ready to play the game..... and i am reset to basic weapons. This is really moody.

When this glitch happens, do you lose all of your credits as well? I've been avoiding buying packs with my credits because I don't want to end up losing what I get. But if I can lose my actual credits too, then there's no point in me continuing to play this game. I might as well shelve it.

Anyone?

I had spent $20 on the additional packs as well, hoping this issue is going to be resolved, and we get reimbursed.

As far as I can tell, just from my own experience, your credits aren't affected.  Just all consumables, and unlocks.

Some people have reported also losing their credits in multiplayer (and not while attempting to buy a pack I mean, literally having their credit balance reset to 0), but that seems to be a rarer occurrence and may not happen at the same time as losing your unlocks. Similarly I've heard people complain about losing levels.

So for now I would just assume that absolutely nothing in multiplayer is safe, not even credits or character levels.

yup, Why i stopped playing on Wednesday and have not logged back into game.. pisses me off as i was n99 and one of the top people in us where is that now? no where since i have basic weapons again, and have high level characters i'd just have to do silvers to whits end and don't feel like doing this i lost 4 snipers, 7 assault rifles 4 SMG's 7 shotguns, and what i use most my pistol i lost all 4 of them plus mods. Allmost want to return the game since im back to square 1.

Just had my stuff reset. Really disheartening. This was on PC, and I was in the store when the match started, and it just went downhill from there. Really hope this can be fixed soon, I won't be playing MP until then.

I've spoken to everyone I can about this, but no real response as of yet. For reference, mine occurred immediately after a match ended; I got to the 'Mission Complete' stage, but the 'Welcome to the N7 Program' was glitching on top of it. I really hope this gets fixed soon...

This occured to me while playing. I entered the store right before the game started loading the multiplayer mission. I of course had no idea this could happen, because it had not happened to me yet, and therefore missed the wonderful "avoid entering store while ready" tip.

this was on the 360.

Its happening to a ton of people for a variety of reasons. A player I just talked to said it happened to him while he was just waiting on the main screen where you can see all 4 players. He wasn't in any menu, or doing anything at all.

Happened to me while I was in the equipment screen.

That's harsh. If this happened to me a 2nd time I'd be entirely done with Multiplayer. As it stands, it only happened to me VERY early on, and I've been extra careful. Although from the sounds of it, you should just avoid being or going into ANY menus. It seems to occur whenever the game is "checking the server" for something, and if you connect to your game mid-checking, everything gets relocked. Like, when the store is checking for purchases, and all that jazz for example. 

I'd be interested to hear about the guy who was just waiting in the main menu. That occurence sounds rarer.

I would have bought the game without the MP aspect. I feel I got my money's worth with the SP, thus far.

But, man, the MP is surprisingly fun. I played the crap out of the demo.

Such a shame they mucked the full launch.

Same here. Loving the SP. However, the demo gave me a taste of the MP and I really liked it. I haven't lost anything yet, but I don't even dare play MP anymore. The bug seems to hit a lot of people, and nobody seems to have any real idea about what's causing it.

Just had all my unlocks reset as well. Not desireable, but it has reminded me that ME3 has SP. :)

I know I had an issue in the Demo where I wouldn't drop the game and the character wouldn't actually unlock after it appeared in the pack. (Asari Adept I think was the one that kept choking.)

Not even gonna touch Multiplayer mode at the moment. Probably by the end of next week I think i'd be around the endgame in Single player and my guess is thats probably where the Galactic Readiness start to be a bit more influencial... Hopefully by the time i got there my GR level wouldn't be 0%... :P

Sure I can just do every single quest to stack up on the rescources, but really... the multiplayer is not exactly giving us "an alternative way to get the best ending".... :D Frankly... its not giving me anything at all at the moment. since i'm rather paranonid of it clearing up all my multiplayer inventory. I'm not even going into the multiplayer mode nowadays. ever.

Anyhow. sorry about the rant Bioware. now... Thank you for creating a great world. I bid you good luck with resolving the issue. :)

Supporters dont even understand english? Probably populated by Indian people. They are pretty cheap support.
