Two years is the average production time for a sequel, perhaps the Dragon Age world takes place in 'real time' and Morrigan's child is about two years old in the next game?
That sounds about right. Terrible Twos is a parenting term for one of the worst times in child development, so it also suggests that Morrigan's child isn't going to be easy to live with. And really, Morrigan isn't emotionally equipped to raise a hamster, much less a child.

1. Another impending invasion of Orlais
2. Maybe a story about Morrigan and her child. Possible enemies. (yay i get to kill Morrigan!)
3. Elven quest of some sort.
4. Devs are messing with us.

Seeing as how her child is a mix of a Gray Warden/Darkspawn/Old God it will probably be the focus point. It would at least give Gray Wardens a excuse to be there. Though I hope they make the story much more personal like the Baldurs Gate 2 story.
That's just my guess of the info we've gotten so far in the game. But I bet we're going to be playing as a new Gray Warden. Given all the different endings and you being a demigod at the end it wouldn't make much sense from a gameplay perspective to replay as your PC char from DA:O unless Archdemons and High Dragons are just weaklings compeard to what the Orlesians got

The sequel is probably set in Orlais. Makes the most sense since it's got a lot of ties with Ferelden. Most likely they will make one of the endings the "correct" ending. My guess would be the ending where Alistair is king and Morrigans darkspawn...eh.. spawn is with her. The epilogue did say something about a woman of her description being seen at the Orlesian court.
While I tend to agree with you, I will point out you only get the ending about her being spotted in Orlais if you do NOT agree to father a demon child (and also don't allow any other Grey Warden to do so, of course) and have not romanced Morrigan.
Ok, wait. I suppose I should say that the only time I have personally ever seen that epilouge is when the above is true. Perhaps someone else has performed Morrigan's ritual and still read about her being seen in Orlais?

As long as they're like Leliana's and not like Marjolaine's, I wouldn't mind a bit.The Angry One wrote...

The thing is, not every voice actor is naturally French. And according to script notes Leliana was supposed to have light French accent (unlike those other characters).

I seem to remember reference to Baldur's Gate doing something similar and some of those being false... But I never played BG, so I could be wrong.

It would feel incredibly personal for those with Wardens who did the DR. Nothing like going after your demon child/ crazy ex

A story about the elves would be good. There's a lot of hints about this in origins. The dalish origin and the underground ruin that tamlen constantly comments on as being odd and something they'd not seen before. And in the ruins with the werewolves I think it is there's a comment on did the elves live underground once like the dwarves? It seems to me that both of those were hinting there could be more about the elves to come.
Right. The architecture is very much the same in the ruins in the Dalish origin and the werewolves "keep."
I think Morrigan? remarks that the statues are elven, but the architecture is Tevinter, which sort of ties to the Dalish origin, but... we're never given anything definite.

You have a point. If it were in Orlais, everyone would have to have 'orlesian' accents lol.
Not necessarily. It's pretty hard to hear an American accent if you yourself are American, for instance. There. I just explained it away.
I think I might have to disagree. One of the biggest things that has been stressed is the consequences of your actions.
Yep. Saw a lot of consequences in Awakenings didn't we? Oh wait, we didn't. We just got different dialogue.
Dragon Age is not a sequential series. It is a franchise that just started. Bioware will pick a canon and run with it. Look at KOTOR. Yeah sure you can take over and kill everybody, but the only place it happened was in your game.
And frankly the ultimate sacrifice is the lamest direction you can take the story.
That's just my guess of the info we've gotten so far in the game. But I bet we're going to be playing as a new Gray Warden.
If we're doing a new character, there's zero reason for it to be a Warden again. Methinks you'll play someone older and more experienced who starts as 'life in the real world' rather than the hero of DAO, who was 'nice life that was ruined.'

The second one seems like something to do with Morrigan's wittle monster. Third, some elf crap.
Methinks the first preditction has already come to pass. The second, however, I'm really hoping comes to pass sooner than 3.

I think the first one might have been a hint to Awakenings. Orlesian landlords: potentially in Amaranthine.

I agree with the Awakenings thing. I kind of think that the second one about the Offspring might be Awakening too, but I also think it might be something about Morrigan too. But I think the first one was the Orlesian Warden being the Arl of Amaranthine.

The second could either be Morrigan's Old God Baby or I suppose it could be from Awakening. If you figure the offspring its mentioning maybe refer to The Children from Awakening and the Terrible Two as The Architect and The Mother?
The Arlathan one though I've got no clue...

I didn't think about that one. That'd kind of make sense in a distant way, but I was thinking terrible twos because the Children try to kill you.

I hope your right. The way they rushed Awakenings and Patch 1.03 . . . I'd rather wait an extra year like I had to for Diablo 2 and have it be well structured and relatively bug free.
