Funny thing is, I chose that back when I ordered my copy, and when I checked a week ago it was still selected, but when I go to see if it's gone out yet last night what do I find? They changed me to Standard Shipping, which means no game till next week some time, and by then it was too late to change it, or at least it wouldn't let me.

To be fair, Canada is a huge as country, can you imagine someone ordering the game and they live in the northern tip of Canada.  To get release date delivery would be a logistical nightmare.

Only slightly bigger than America, but it's far less inhabited. There should be no reason for us not to get release day shipping. Unless it was one of the places you mentioned. But I don't live in Nunavut! I live in Ontario! There's a Amazon facility in Mississauga, which is about four hours away from me. So that's how I know it won't be long to reach me, but... still.

Amazon changed it to "shipping soon", but alas, still not billed, thus it hasn't even been shipped out yet. The waiting game sucks. I want to use incinerate on everything.

I don't know if proxy servers work on Xbox, but they seem to be the reason as to why some PC gamers have been able to play before their official launch date.

This is one of the reasons why i buy digital nowadays. The game is always delivered before release (or very soon after, even with this slow connection).

Your lucky.  I had the exact same shipping estimates as you did.  Mine even shipped last night.  Though I don't have a scheduled delivery and the estimate is another 7 days.  I live in Calgary, and it's shipped from Mississauga, so maybe it'll be longer distance-wise.

I got my PC N7 edition today at about 11:45 AM EST. Amazon has always been my go to place for collector's editions, and they have not failed me yet.
