Does anyone else have an issue with the game not recognizing that you got back together with Liara during Shadow Broker. Or is it suppose to be like that? She says it's been years since you were together... but LotSB took place only a few months before actual game start.

It is been acknowledged later on. It's just a glitchy dialogue that will not take the LotSB flag into consideration (assuming it's even trying to).

Hasn't that always been a minor issue? The LI being rather a bit too distanced at the beginning of each new game. I think it's just a matter of limiting the vast number of dialogue scenes so the LI will talk in the same manner to you as he/she would if they were not the LI.

Don't forget, she's part-Krogan. Showing a lack of logic when your daughter has seemingly fallen in with the wrong crowd is a normal reaction for a hot-headed estranged father who's apparently been stalking her daughter for the last year at the last. That plot element should be the least of your worries, it's rather believable IRL, aside from the gender pronouns being frelled up by the monogendered thing.Baihu1983 wrote...

Confirmed glitch. You can fix it with Gibbed, but it hardly makes any difference. Basically exact same conversation but she says months instead of years. Still needs reaffirmation that your still into her even though you already pretty much begged her for little blue children. Uhg. Dunno why Bioware didn't just record an extra line of dialog for loyals that makes more sense.

It is an import glitch which can be fixed with a save editor if you edit your save before you return to the Normandy after dropping Ashley off on the Citadel. I fixed it on my latest playthrough. She'll properly acknolwedge and mention the tour of the Normandy.
She'll say: "I'll always remember that tour of the Normandy. But it's been over half a year since we were together." Instead of "It's been years since we were together." It is minor issue overall but I think it changes the tone of that conversation slightly. It's also a super easy fix, so I'll do it everytime now.

This. I retconned the word months into my head anyway, and I don't mind because she still obviously cares about Shepard and vice-versa.

Maybe she meant it's been years since any actual penetration. For all we know, they just made out in LotSB.

Again it's an importation bug. If you fix it in the save file, she'll confirm that you were last together in the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC when she toured the Normandy.
