I was wondering if this was possible as it is possible to take the cd key provided from Steam for EA products, like I just did with my ME2 steam cd key. It's a serious pain in the **** to hunt down this TryMedia link and since Origin is out now I would rather consolidate my games there with ME3's release.

Im trying to consolidate on orgin also. I managed to register my collectors edition ME2 on orgin and it turned it into a digital deluxe download version when i put the old code in. ME1 is stumping me though ... the code i have works to install it on the computer (standard ... not in orgin).

I seriously doubt it's possible since EA seems to be ignoring ME1. There's no place to even register ME1 through EA anymore I don't think?

The original ME-1 registration was hosted on the Legacy Forums' site. After a security breach there, the site was taken offline, and never restored, nor has a substitute registration been added here on the Social site.

I've downloaded the digital ME1 from Origin and have also run into a lot of trouble getting the game to work because I haven't been able to get them to accept the product key. I have 24 messages in a Case between me and the EA "help". No matter what I do, it won't register and play. And yet, my wife was able to download the game from Origin and get it registered and has finished it in the time I've been wasting with customer service. Her and I have nearly identical pc's except her hd is larger than mine, but I still have a 500g hd.

Is there anyone out there at all that has an idea of what might work to get my game working? I'm almost afraid to buy ME2 and have the same problems. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried uninstalling it, then installing again?

I have uninstalled it numerous times. I reloaded my Windows 7 to a new hard drive and reinstalled it. The thing is my wife's computer and mine are identical except for the cases and both Win7 installs were fresh. I am about to give up on the whole franchise.

Is there any way to redeem my ME 1 Code on origin or on this site?

No. There is no registration of any kind for ME1 since the old forum assploded back in the mists of time. Just 2 & 3 now.
