HI,
ME 3 keeps crashing at Palavens moon, always at the same position, directly after James and Garrus talk about potential allies. So far I had no problems, even Eden Prime (there seem to be some issues) worked fine for me.
I tried playing in online and offline mode, doesn't matter.

So I'm playing on a gaming notebook, i7 2640QM, 12 gb ram, radeon hd 6900M, windows 7 64bit SP1.

Anyone had the same or similar problems and found a way to fix it?

Have the same problem but crashes when I already left the base just after the conversation about the batharians to meet the primarch. Its always there and it takes the savegame with it into oblivion.

One thing I just realized:

I go to see General Victus, shortly before there is a med pack and (I guess) an auto save point. The moment it saves the game freezes for a moment and then works again. If I go on further it crashes AND if I want to go to the save menu it crashes too (while killing the auto save point). Don´t know but maybe that helps BW to figure it out.

Tried it another time too. The game really seems to crash when it autosaves at that point. I can select the autosave after restarting the game, but it freezes during the loading screen.

I tried to turn off auto save but that doesn´t help either.

At this point the game has pretty much become unplayable for me until there is a solution...

/Edit: After the point where it freezes (near the med pack) for a short time it also crashes after a while if I go back so there is some seriously wrong there and it´s driving me nuts..

I´ll keep looking into it to see if there is something before I try to replay all of the mission to see if that helps.

I'm getting the same problem on Eden Prime right after the Prothean Data. The game freezes and crashes right after the cut scene.

My game crashes here aswell. It crashes when Liara turns around to look at me after the cutscene.

The autosave just seemed to be coincidentally at the same point. Tried deactivating it too, didn't help. The problem apparently appears while loading something, at least I always see the small loading disc at the bottom right when it crashes.

What bothers me is that I can´t even go back,I´m kinda stuck in this little area and leaving it crashes the game. Seems like there really is a problem with loading something outside that area and I pretty much tried everything already.

/Edit: I just realized that I can´t even Alt+Tab anymore after it froze for a short time ..,. wtf is wrong with this game.

Solved it!

Restarted my PC and ordered Origin to repair the game. After that it finally works. You may wanna try that too.

Yes, it works. Thank you very much. Origin downloaded ~600mb. Anyway, i didn't find the repair function right away. so for everyone else: right click on the mass effect icon in origin.
