 I'm about 15 hours in, and lo and behold, there's Conrad Verner on the Citadel.

I'd like to make this abundantly clear.

This is the best quest in any game ever.  EVER.

SPOILERS BELOW.



He tries to work for Cerberus to follow you.

He apologizes for the ME2 intimidated glitch.

Shepard tries to get rid of him with overly technical jargon about the Crucible.

He's actually a PhD whose thesis was written on Dark Energy.

And if that's not enough, he gets you info, but only if you:
1) Helped Gavin Hossle on Feros  (He comments "Small galaxy")
2) Got all the Matriarch Dilinaga writings
3) Bought the Elkoss Combine license
4) Possibly more, I didn't have the license in this save.

In summation, BioWare pulled the biggest joke on us.  And I'm dying laughing.

What? I thought it was mentioned in the news on Illium (ME2) that Conrad Verner died from a car crash or something like that after you meet him in the bar. Does this vary from various playthroughs?

Conrad can die if you do it a certain way. I had heard there was a certain quest to see him, know what it is?
