So the latches on the power supply seems invincible.  I can't complete the mission. 

Edit:  So apparently you have to aim for the small metal bit on the latch to unlock it.  Man some stuff in this game is poorly explained.

wasent that common sense? I mean in resident evil if theres a padlock and there all shoot it open I dont go wildfiring at the door

It's not obvious and this is the only time in the series I have ever seen them do that.  The only reason I even got the latch thing open was because I randomly fired my SMG at the door and it hit the metal lock(which looks more like a latch).
