So i've got done playing through Mass Effect 3 and checkt out all three diffrent Endings and gotta say, i hope there's a secret Ending because those Endings where just terrible.

Ending Blue: Has Shepard Sacrificing himself to take Controle of the Reapers and sending them back from where ever they came from.

Ending Green: Is the same as Ending Blue but with the fact that everyone in the Galaxie having their DNA overwritten to become half Machine and half Human/Asari/Krogan etc...

Ending Red: Has Shepard destroying the Reapers and staying alive.

But all those Ending share the same Goal of having all the Mass Relays destroyed, which is personally something i don't like, i would of preferred an Ending like Red with the Mass Relays intact and continuing the Story as a Hero and see everything getting Rebuild etc... really hope BioWare has another Ending besides those.

I've spoken with a couple of other players and they did confirm your experience. Most of them were angry and disappointed too. I can't believe it. I've paid 100 USD for such a disappointment! I've installed the annoying Origin client in order to play it legally. I've enjoyed every game from Bioware since Baldur's Gate, even the controversial Dragon Age 2. I didn't beef about the DLC glut. But this... I have no words. :pinched:

I'm more disappointed there's no true epilogue explaining the fate of all the other civilizations or even your friends.

Even something as simple as dragon age origins' text epilogue would have been satisfying.

Before I make my next statement, I wanna say that I'm so disappointed as all of you. But I knew what would happen since last week. Now to my statement, that will look like trolling, but it's not:

And so it begins! The greatest s**tstorm of our time! (There was a picture with Gandalf, but I'm too lazy to look out for it).

Instead a ****storm, we could let know Bioware our disappoinment on a civilized manner:

http://social.biowar...06/polls/28989/

I did my vote already, perhaps there's a friendly heart at Bioware who will show mercy to us poor sensitive people.

I voted on that poll yesterday. Also hope for a not so bad ending.

I have the Collector's Edition guide, and it clearly states that 'a secret ending is also available to players who complete the game a second time.' I mean, that's not 'implying' there's a secret ending - that's word for word.

Does that mean you have to play NG+? Or just, well, a second time.

Also, after having watched footage of the ending scenes I noticed that the explosion scene where parts of the relay fly in all directions doesn't happen in Control. So you can save the relay network. The scene suggests some damage, but the relays won't be gone.

On the whole, I've come to like the endings. My major concern (relays blowing up in Control, which makes no sense at all) has been removed, the fate of Shepard in the Synthesis is open to several interpretations, and if what happens is told in very similar scenes flavored differently, I don't like that but I can live with it.

At first, I I missed the absence of an epilogue showing or telling the fate of species and characters. But when you think about it, the endings leave the galaxy in very different states. Particularly in Synthesis, it would be hard detailing more than the symbolic scene with the Normandy. Having said that, a number of *different* scenes after the ending would have been nice. The endings aren't "samey" at all, but the presentation does its best to mask that fact.

Is this secret ending, the footage after the credits? or is that in every time you finish the game? I think that guy who is talking to that kid, is joker lol.

That poll is terrible. It makes presumptions that all people who think the endings suck do so because it's not happy. I think the endings suck because the bitter elements are entirely forced and just a bad narrative.

I get your point, but it's not my poll so I can't change this. Personally I want absolutely a choice for a happy end, but I respect other feelings. :)

And I want any potential unhappiness to be a consequence of the Reapers. "This is why the Reapers are bad." "This is why Cerberus is bad."

When I can't blame the Reapers, Cerberus, or whatever bad guy for the misfortune, then I'm left with only one interpretation of the events. "This is why McGuffins are bad." "This is why the writing is bad."

I think most of us want more endings with more differents and a satisfying closure - as BioWare pomised. A satisfying ending for every taste.

Or we could accept that we are not the authors and are therefore unqualified to dictate the artistry of the story.

This is no legitimate argument. Bioware (i.e. Casey Hudson) made promises and announcements for which I've bought the game. If I'm paying a lot of money for a thing, of course I have the right to criticize it.

I am so desensitized to the endings that I don't think they'll ever make me angry or anything. I posted on that ending topic for 24 hours during the first 48 hours of its existence nearly constantly, so there's nothing I haven't heard or seen by now.

Exactly, players are paying customers entitled to a satisfactory product. This isn't a book or a movie but a game (RPG game in fact). That said - you should be able to modify major plot decissions and results as you wish. If a lot of customers say that they don't like the product (or ending), the provider of the service should adress that issue. M.

I doubt it's anything spectacular because there's no new pre-rendered cutscenes.

I'm betting that's the Shepard lives epilogue. And either they didn't get the conditions right or the conditions were changed between printing of the guide and release.

They said that the ending would not leave any questions open, but they seem to be leaving more questions than answers for us. From what I've heard everyone still seems to be confused as to what each ending means. I just want to know what happens after all the blowing up! Does my shep get to be with her friends and LIs or not?

I really hope that now that the game is out, there is some sort of answer from Bioware. Just an acknowledgment that they realize that many fans are very unhappy with the endings.

I still can't believe they would build up character relationships and friendships for 3 games only to throw it all back in our faces.

Well the game hasn't been out long enough for NG+ to be finished. There is still hope! If not, I'll kick the story writer in the groin with cleats!

I'm still wondering what the supposed "golden ending" was that we were promised.
