All that came from an improvised comment as i drank a cup of tea, Bioware had a couple of years and still ****ed it up xD

YES!  I said something similar previously.  Kirk and Spock could have beaten the Guardian with a paradox.

heh. Kirk took the kobyashi test three times before he reprogrammed the computers..  I dont think i can take any more times through this turkey.

Well you had to figure you were going to die when those ominous dreams started happening.

Why is Shepard having dream sequences after seeing a kid die when they have seen whole colonies dismembered aboard the Collector Ship? D-U-M-B.

@Eumerin So if you chose a non-romanced squadmate for the Take Back Earth mission, then you would have them opposed to your LI?

Ash was my LI, and I took her with me.  It was difficult to make out, but I think she was the third person that stepped out of the Normandy.

What I've been hearing from others by and large is that the third person who shows up is always one of the squad members that you had with you during the last battle.  The comment a few posts up is the first post I've seen indicating the presence of someone who was not EDI and was not one of the last two squad members that were picked.  It's possible that the squad member that replaces EDI is completely random, which makes a certain amount of sense.  After all, if EDI was part of your squad during the last battle and also dead (because you killed all of the synthetics), then the game would need to put someone else in place.  So it's possible that the game just automatically randomizes the EDI replacement.

What you need to find out is whether or not anyone's had an instance of no squad members from the final battle showing up.

There are good things to be said about quiet moments with a cup of tea.

Well, actually, I saw a youtube vid where the Normandy hatch just starts to open, but then it fades to black. Maybe that's if you failed hard.

All i wanted from endings was

Renegade
1. You didn't prepare enough and everybody dies, The Reapers win
2. You sacrifice your alien allies fleets to save humanity and defeat the Reapers

Paragon
1. You didn't prepare enough and have to sacrifice yourself and the human fleets to save the rest of the galaxy.
2. You rally the entire galaxy against the Reapers and destroy them becoming a galactic hero.

Might seem a bit simple but i would have loved this over the current load of crap we got delivered

Very simple, but dead on to what I was hoping for.  The game literally did the worst possible ending in my book.  THe above is all I was hoping for.  Endings to a simply good galactic war story.

The only ending that really makes sense is control, but why the hell didn't Shepard just steer their asses into a star?

This.

Plus some people left their LI on Virmire and others had their LI die on the Suicide mission - or LIs that died in ME3 like Thane. That would make sense not some kid. Or friends/allies/crew that have died in ME2 or ME3. There is attachment there. Shep has no attachment to the kid except for the fact...it is a kid.

I was okay with the opening scene and the emotional impact...but it lessens the impact and starts to ****** me off when Shep constantly dreams about this ONE kid. Hell, my Colonist Shep and Sole Survivor Shep have seen FAR more distrubing things than that! The dreams would've meant something if they included people or places that mattered to my Shep and to me.

I'm surprised to see not a single Bioware response to these topics. Probably too busy counting their money.
Bioware if you have any respect for your loyal fans give us the happy endings that Shepard deserves. By the way, the mass effect series is nothing without the mass relays, so with each ending you screwed us over twice by killing Shepard then destroying the mass relays.
Here's an idea, try to remember all the possible endings for Dragon Age: Origins, not all endings end with the protagonist dying and there is even a huge celebration at the end, How hard is that.

One rule about life Bioware seems to have forgotten, "Don't mess with people's hero's." We forged our Shepard's to be merciful or ruthless hero's, we didn't get to choose whether our hero lives or dies, only given the death option in three different flavors.

I enjoyed all my choices in the Mass Effect trilogy immensely, right up till my "final choice". At that point I just wanted to close the game in disgust, it was like my Shepard died on Eden Prime. Seriously, the "reset the galaxy" option should have been just one option out of others. Instead all three "reset the galaxy" without the one who pushed the reset button.

I'm going to go watch Wrath of Kahn to see some REAL sci-fi and wash the bitter taste of ME3 out of my mouth (which is the biggest damn shame ever since everything besides the ending was brilliant and beautiful).  Its hard to believe that Kirk (who saved Earth how many times?)  is a bigger hero than Commander shepherd.

I agree with you. The first time it was pure emotion, and then after that it's just weird. Excuse my sexism, but I find it particularly weird if it's a manshep. I liked how the added the voices of lost crew members to the dreams. That was nice, but like you said, they should have just done it with one of your lost crewmates, either Ashley or Kaidan. Liara even asks you what you were dreaming about and you can say "I miss Ashley/I miss Kaidan". The kid isn't even mentioned! You know they just added it in there after they concocted their M. Knight. Shamamamalalon ending. <_<

Really? Come on Bioware why... really?

the story - Epic

the Ending- Epic FAIL ( the whole Normandy thing) so left field on that one

the multiplayer effecting the single player campaign??? really?? (readiness should be gained by some other means) such a waste of getting all 5000 points 5300 if u imported from mass 1.

Replay value- there is NONE (endings give u no motivation to try out other characters they all lead to the same conclusion)

Upcomming DLC- Why bother, the Galaxy is screwed anyways and its not like your choices will reflect on the Ending.Multiplayer DLC makes sense but not single player

Buts thanks for letting me have an option to kill the illusive man which i did

Even though I would love more than anything to see a DLC ending that would fix this problem, I just don't see that happening. Especially after the article I just found about the first 24 hour sale figures for ME3 on Gamerant heres the link http://gamerant.com/...ea-benk-137689/ .

I really does not seem likely they are going to feel the need to do anything about after selling 890K copies not even counting Europe. Then again maybe enough of those 890K plus Europe will force their hand on the issue. I am not going to suggest people stop pressing for something better but I am also not going to suggest we get our hopes up for a fix either.
