Good review!
How can it possibly be a good review when it contains mostly positive stuff about ME3?
EA and Bioware must have bribed the OP with a free copy of ME3.
That's right! I forgot this is BSN afterall!!
It's not Mass Effect

Well it's nice to see some people are giving balanced and fair reviews. So far today all i have seen is both extremes they either heavily protect the game or they hate it's guts and scream about how it ruined their life/EA kicked their dog etc.
I think the OP makes some fair points the face import issue is a design flaw but at least face codes exist to work around it. It'll take a bit longer but hey at least your Shepard won't be lost.
And some really seem to be demonising the auto dialogue without fully understanding how it works so i was happy to see the OP explain it better for people who don't quite understand what it will mean for their game yet. It's there to fill in the blanks not deny you of your choices. What Bioware were going for was a movie like flow to conversations instead of start stop with Shepard remaining silent in between making dialogue choices. It makes it more immersive if when walking and listening to somebody Shepard responds in between of stopping to converse.

Put this review up on Metacritic, mate. They need some clear thinking over there to offset the massive amount of negativity.

Thank you, in the UK I am left worrying about the negative comments on these topics, but this review has calmed my nerves.

Very good review. The first two issues you mentioned are bothering me a lot but I will continue playing the game because I did like other things about it. It is still a fun game, just shocked at the lack of control I had. Anyway.....will keep playing later today and really see how I feel about it....

Whilst I'll doomsay as much as the next person - especially about auto-dialogue - I get the feeling no ending would ever satisfy people. I've yet to see a franchise in this decade where people don't call anything but "WHAT A CRAPPY ENDING!".

Well written and informative, without a spoiler in sight. Very many thanks Nickgb
Except for the "very bad endings" part

You're more fair than the high profile reviwers that didn't list a single fault about the game. I disagree on some points but as this is your opinion and you don't act like a drone I'll just leave it at that.

Clicked on thread expecting QQ's.
Read fair and thoughtful review.
Pleasantly surprised, everything went better than expected.

Heh, I was fully expecting one of the first rant threads of the day when I clicked, what a pleasant surprise!
I'm still very early in the game (haven't finished the Mars section), and I do have to say that so far I have seen the dialogue wheel pop up almost as constantly as it did in previous games (although it's always two options instead of three). Maybe the auto dialogue gets heavier in later parts? Either way, judging from what I've seen, I doubt I will have a big issue with it, especially when the rest of the game is shaping up real nicely.
Anyway, kudos on your good post.

Wow your thread title was completely misleading.
I don't mind though, it's nice to hear something positive.
