Sorry but this has to be the worst idea I've seen in awhile

So let's sum it all up:
-Bioware repeatedly declared it's possible to achieve the best possible endings through SP alone.
-The best endings require 5000pts of readiness, not 10 000.
-Going over 5001 (even all the way to 10 000) doesn't change anything.
-The War Assets you collected from your playthrough seem insufficient to achieve a readiness of 5000pts.
-The multiplayer portion of the game is not to your liking and discussing it cannot change your mind.

This being a spoiler-free section of the forum, I simply cannot see how further discussion on this thread can solve your issue with the game.

I suggest you try to find answers in the Story & Campaign Discussion board where specific plot points, side quests, war assets aquisition and any form of spoilers can all be discussed at length.

Good luck, mate. Image IPB

The reason everyone is saying 10000 is needed is beacause without ever touching multiplayer, you need 10,000 warassets to get 5000 useable ones. so if you cant make 10,000 in single player you cant get the best possible ending. 5000 war assets in sp is 2500 readyness. Unless you mean, the best ending need 5000 readyness at 50%, and would only need 2500 with a fully maxed out readyness. Im somewhat confused on the matter myself. Dose the overall warassets need to be 5000, Or dose the USEABLE warassets need to be 5000?.

Maybe it is down to some of the choices you made - that is always the way with Mass Effect endings.

It is possibly to get the best ending without multiplayer, does not mean that if you don't play multiplayer you are guaranteed to get the best ending.

Whoa... Wait!
You need 5000pts of Effective Military Strength to get the best endings.
Your Readiness Rating acts as a multiplier on your War Assets to evaluate your Effective Military Strength.
Which may mean you need 10 000pts in War Assets, depending on your Readiness Rating.

And then a few other things may also be taken into account under the hood...

So, yeah... Sorry for the confusion! My bad!!! Image IPB

Anyway, my point is since TC definitely has no interest in multiplayer whatsoever, the option to raise his Readiness Rating is blocked, leaving him no choice but to collect more War Assets exclusively through the single player campaign. Bioware clearly and repeatedly claimed such a feat possible, provided the player was a bit of a completionist.

But the specifics on how to obtain those War Assets clearly cannot be discussed on a spoiler-free multiplayer forum.

Hence, good luck!

Bolting on a silly Left 4 Dead type game to an RPG is not interesting, not fun, and not at all what I want. If I want to go play a multiplayer shootie, I'll fire up Battlefield 3. For Mass Effect 3, I want to play single player.

Then play single player.

What a shocking concept!

ME3 multiplayer feels to me like a fusion of L4D and Gears....

..the last two multiplayer shooters I actually have love for.

..then it sets this in the ME verse and lets me play a Krogan?

....ME3 multiplayer is do damned good it made me cheat on singleplayer, and my beating of the single player campaign was delayed a day and change accordingly due to just how great MP ME3 is. I literally have no mechanical complaints about the multiplayer -- which for me? Out and out miracle there.

Co-op is fantastic. Just don't play it, for the love of God.

Now I have to point out, I typically don't like MP in most games.

This one has been a glaring exception to that, and I am delighted. Still don't like some of the silliness my fellow players do out in the field, but we're all young and dumb once ;)
