I for one, enjoy being hyped up for a game - even if I'm dissapointed by the final result I'd rather that be my conclusion untainted by what others have said.

Sure I could just not come onto this forum but I'm days away from playing one of my most anticipated games ever - seriously, I've been trying to rid myself of distractions to focus on my career but I allowed myself the Mass Effect series and after the third game, that's it, I need to focus again.

So here I am and on this non-spoiler forum, for people who haven't registered their games, (as those of you who can play it have been given every other forum to post in and talk freely about in-game content) and there are all sorts of spoilers and as annoying, it turns out, so much negativity.

Why come here, why vent to people who mostly consist of those who cannot yet play the game. Why not just keep your opinions to yourselves if you didn't want to post in the other forums?

Some of the faults you guys and gals have pointed out I probably wouldn't have noticed until after I finished the game and reflected upon its strengths and weaknesses and now from the get-go I'm going to be thinking, 'oh dear, that would have looked better with some film grain hmm...'

'That scene was very auto-dialogue heavy, wasn't it?'

Etc...

I want to come here and still talk about how freakin excited I am to be able to finish this trilogy, not read post after post about what you've found ****. You shouldn't even have finished the game yet in my opinion, this will be your last Mass Effect game for a while and you should have savoured it - enjoyed it like a good book and made it last - allowed yourself to be excited about the mission you were going to try and finish after you get home from work...

I appreciate this is a rather pointless thread - It's more of a plea than anything else - to show some respect and understanding to your neighbours who can't yet have an opinion yet will be sensitive to any that come from those who are (for the moment) in the know.

I don't what to hear about: Tali's face; the Rachni Queen; ME2 characters, the ending; graphical issues, game complaints etc...

Although if one of you can confirm you can kick Chobot off the Normandy (which I read somewhere on here) then I wouldn't complain about that, as I'm sure my fellow brits also wouldn't mind / any fan in their right mind.

A dead Yoshi? How could you? WHY??? *sniff* Them cute Yoshis, ... you monster.

But I digress, it can be slightly unnerving seeing all the complaints piling up, but then again I know how nitpick happy the BSN is and whilst some issues are definately legitamite problems to those peoples, they may not be for me.

It's a bit like DAII, some of the complaints were legit, others overblown and in the end, although I was (and am still) underwhelmed by the game's experience, it is still a good game. I'll reserve judgement until I actually have it on my hands.

I advise everyone to do the same and not get suckered into complaints they can't verify.

People post spoilers on this part of the forum quite alot, I made a thread about this!

its up to the mods to remove them and the posters to use a bit of common sense and post spoilers in the right section.

I'm saying: Americans, be considerate to those who will, of course, be stuck to this forum like a fly is to a sumptuous turd.

Neofelis, TheDeadYoshi is my XBL name, the kind of thing you think up on the spot when you first start up a new console and you're on the spot to come up with something that doesn't involve lots of numbers as a username - I didn't kill any Yoshis, I promise. Husk-Yoshis, we'll see...

Dude the game is AMAZING, the only reason people are saying that stuff is because this is friggin' BSN! Check the reviews from major gaming publications or on metacritic! This community is garbage when it comes to non-biased, decent critique of games. Absolute trash.

And thus a horrible fanfic was born ... Mario as Shepard, Bowser as Wrex, Master Hand as Reapers, etc.!

Oh ... this is going to be fun, I may actually write this thing!

Thank you! Exactly! This forum has practically killed half of my hype and its really upsetting me.

Misery loves company I guess =/ they all read the spoilers and now want to vent at us about it rather than letting us stay hyped.

I dont get any of this. Sigh. I would rather be hyped for something and then be disappointed by it through my own means rather than hearing all about it before hand.

as someone who has the game on release date delivery here in the US. I AGREE. SPOILER FREE. Yet continually spoilers appear in this forum! Its ridiculous.

As for bad reviews, critics said star wars was a bad movie back in the 70's not my time since i was born in late 80's but regardless, i could careless what any of the people here think about the game.

Here's a hint.

Don't read the forums than. You will be saddened when the truth is sperad out more freely in the coming days and many start to wonder where Bioware went wrong.

Wait, so the people who aren't American and got a copy of the game anyway are allowed to post spoilers? 0_0

Just kidding...

I agree. I hate to come into the thread and see people posting spoilers in the non-spoiler section. There's a section for that! My copy doesn't arrive until later today, so naturally, I'm hanging around here until it arrives. I don't want to read why X is afraid of Y and what Q did to Z. :/

^ This is exactly how I feel, yet I cannot get enough of it at the same time because I've got a lot of invested interest in this series. I don't even want to begin to count the amount of hours I've put into both 1 & 2.

tch2296, I'm staying away from reviews (mainly because of IGN actually, they said in their pre-review that it would be spoiler free yet had quite a few spoilers.)

Hahahahaha, god damn it, so people aren't allowed their opinions anymore?

If you didn't want to see any spoilers or anyone having a go at your precious videogame, I suggest you take a hike from BSN.

Some people have spat their dummies out and it does not help those that are patiently waiting for release. I for one am loving the game so far so don't believe all the negativity.

Houldendub, I am viewing a designated NON-SPOILER thread, I do not expect to see spoilers posted by people who are legitimately allowed to post in spoiler-based forums. Your logic fails. For us brits, we're still speculating, and we're enjoying that, we're still hyped. Allow us that, please.

No one here is saying that people can't have their own opinions. What's being said is that there is a section for opinions.

I think these two sections are more than adequate to post your reasons why you're disappointed with the game:

Mass Effect 3 Story and Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)
Mass Effect 3 Gameplay Discussion (Spoilers allowed)

People can have there own opions sure but this is a 'spoil Free' area, if your opion includs spoilers, you should be in ther other area of the forum.

Don't put words in other mouth. You have a specific board to discuss both problems and spoilers to post in

Use it. Simple..

I agree. At least take your talk to the right boards where spoilers and such can be talked about. It's killing the hype for those who have to wait longer.

HERES A TIP.

Form your own opinion, because at the end of the day, your own opinion is the one that matters - not reading some troll on about how Bioware has failed.

Oh geez, I didn't know I was capable of forming my own opinion - look maybe I didn't put it across as well as I could have. I want to play ME3 untainted by what others are saying, I don't want spoilers and I want to enjoy the excitement I have been experiencing leading up to this launch.

I don't want those complaints people have put on a spoiler-free forum to be creeping into my thoughts when I play my copy on Friday, I'm quite OCD when it comes to it I guess. I want it to be a pure experience - my first reactions I want to be my own and not me thinking back to what I've come across, on here, when that stuff shouldn't have been posted in the first place.

I'm American, and I am a bit unnerved by all the ****ing and moaning going on, but not the validity of it.  My advice, don't come to BSN for a while.  Wait a couple weeks until the tears dry up a bit, then it will be easier to have an actual discussion without passive aggressive comments on how the game wasn't what someone hoped and dreamed about.

Yeah, the GENERAL section is such a bad place to put opinions. Only good opinions allowed I'm guessing?

THEY put the words in their mouths, try reading for once, might get you somewhere.

So guys, let me get this straight, we're only allowed to post in MASS EFFECT GENERAL DISCUSSION as long as it's kissing Bioware's ass 24/7 right? And how do things such as people complaining about a screwed up FOV, horrible textures, horrible sound work, rubbish animations, no lip syncing, horrible key bindings (if it gets more simplified, by the next Bioware game, walking, shooting and anything else will all be on the space bar) come into the category of being a "Spoiler".

Stay indoctrinated.
