Now I am going to look for a scene with heavy dialogue because of the OP. Way to post a spoiler, dude.

Yes, because I was the first person to mention auto*-dialogue. Before me there hadn't been numerous posts about it; before me there hadn't been a demo that detailed the different modes and their cutscene interaction limits; before me developers hadn't mentioned this themselves. Stop pretending you silly person, trying to nitpick a fault in my post.

Here's a hint.

Don't read the forums than. You will be saddened when the truth is sperad out more freely in the coming days and many start to wonder where Bioware went wrong.

Exactly, if you dont want to read about it, then get the heck off BSN.

Oh geez, I didn't know I was capable of forming my own opinion - look maybe I didn't put it across as well as I could have. I want to play ME3 untainted by what others are saying, I don't want spoilers and I want to enjoy the excitement I have been experiencing leading up to this launch.

I don't want those complaints people have put on a spoiler-free forum to be creeping into my thoughts when I play my copy on Friday, I'm quite OCD when it comes to it I guess. I want it to be a pure experience - my first reactions I want to be my own and not me thinking back to what I've come across, on here, when that stuff shouldn't have been posted in the first place.

The Tali face thread has a ****ton of people saying Tali is hot, and people saying BW are cowards, the result is that I now expect Tali to be another Space Elf like the asari, and I din't want to know that, heck I went to the thread looking for people wishing one thing or the other, not spoiling everything :(

This forum is the last place for those of us that don't have the game, stop saying crap that we don't want to know.

but probably the best we can do is just get the out of here until we finish the game, with is what I am going to do.

Maybe people avoided threads. And so your post could be the first. Yet you're arguing against doing it and actually do it in the post. So you've basically did what you are posting against. That's very holier than thou of you.

Look, we ALL enjoyed weeks of build up and hype and speculating - there are mere days to wait until we ALL have the game. Brits/anyone who does not yet have the game would still like to speculate / talk about Mass Effect with other fans - this is the place to do that ok?! (This is directed generally, not the user I'm replying to) - your argument is not valid when you say, well don't come on BSN - thats good advice seeing as you lot seem incapable of being respectful.

If time travel was possible, and I went back to a few days ago (having played Mass Effect 3, say) and started posting the stuff you lot are posting, you guys would lynch me. Put yourselves in our place, we come here to talk about Mass Effect, this is a non-spoiler forum, you guys were here before the 6th enjoying the forum in the same way but yet now its out you think you own the place and feel like you can post whatever you like. You have access to numerous forums we don't so why don't you just sod off?!

You know what, I give up. Goodbye.

You guys think I'm saying you can't have an opinion - I'm not saying that, I'm saying there's a better place to voice your opinions.

Now there are spoilers appearing in my thread which is a post that is avidly against them. As for you, Sheppard7 - I have not posted anything that hasn't appeared as a thread TITLE in the forum, you would need to be blind not to have seen them already before coming here, as for what Chaoswind posted, I cant help that - I wish I didn't see it myself!

That is the truth, I avoided the spoiler forum yet I still has aspects of the game spoiled for me regardless of how I tried to aviod it. Bottle line for someone like you, (from what I gather at least) is that you need a complete ME3 media blackout....it's the only way. BSN is going be full of spoilers, whiners, and trolls for the next few months.

People should post their spoilers in the spoiler area. But it's not just Americans doing it as actually America wasn't the first to get access to the game. As people used those VPNs to show other parts of the world got it first. Your title is really going to do nothing but make it flame bait.

You're right. I managed it with Mass Effect 2 (until my brother invited me over and ruined everything for me when he left the game on at the end just as I walked into the room and a screen said SPOILER (for ME2)

"You have defeated the human reaper etc..."

SPOILER ^ (for ME2)

I said to him "Oh thanks for that! You couldn't have just turned your TV off when you knew I was coming over?! Why even leave it on, like that? You know I haven't completed it yet!" Then I stormed out haha.

I write fiction, I take spoilers very seriously in my work hahahaha

spoilers do not belong here , and people should be considerate. That being said I do not know how you could expect to come to bsn and not hear other people's opinions. If the boards do not want any negative input they should post rules and moderate.

Spoilers are story line. people are more than within the rules to come here and state thier opinions on gameplay, graphics , sound , score etc....as long as its general and does not include story elements.

Didn't asia get unlocked first?, in fact anyone with a copy could have proxied hong kong and opened the game early, sccording to what i have read on other forums. people just love to ****** on americans, like they are all the same.

No one here is saying that people can't have their own opinions. What's being said is that there is a section for opinions.

I think these two sections are more than adequate to post your reasons why you're disappointed with the game:

Mass Effect 3 Story and Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)
Mass Effect 3 Gameplay Discussion (Spoilers allowed)

Yeah, the GENERAL section is such a bad place to put opinions. Only good opinions allowed I'm guessing?

TheDeadYoshi wrote...

Houldendub, I am viewing a designated NON-SPOILER thread, I do not expect to see spoilers posted by people who are legitimately allowed to post in spoiler-based forums. Your logic fails. For us brits, we're still speculating, and we're enjoying that, we're still hyped. Allow us that, please.

TheDeadYoshi wrote...

and there are all sorts of spoilers and as annoying, it turns out, so much negativity.

Why
come here, why vent to people who mostly consist of those who cannot
yet play the game. Why not just keep your opinions to yourselves if you
didn't want to post in the other forums?

Some of the faults you
guys and gals have pointed out I probably wouldn't have noticed until
after I finished the game and reflected upon its strengths and
weaknesses and now from the get-go I'm going to be thinking, 'oh dear,
that would have looked better with some film grain hmm...'

'That scene was very auto-dialogue heavy, wasn't it?'

Nonoru wrote...
Don't put words in other mouth. You have a specific board to discuss both problems and spoilers to post in

THEY put the words in their mouths, try reading for once, might get you somewhere.

So guys, let me get this straight, we're only allowed to post in MASS EFFECT GENERAL DISCUSSION as long as it's kissing Bioware's ass 24/7 right? And how do things such as people complaining about a screwed up FOV, horrible textures, horrible sound work, rubbish animations, no lip syncing, horrible key bindings (if it gets more simplified, by the next Bioware game, walking, shooting and anything else will all be on the space bar) come into the category of being a "Spoiler".

Stay indoctrinated.

I'm going to do my best to spell this out to you.

A thread that says "General Discussion (No Spoilers Allowed)" shoudl ot have spoiler-filled reviews, complaints, compliments, etc. Whether the opinion is good or bad means nothing. I don't care. What I care about is that people are posting spoilers.

I don't care if a thread is praising Bioware as the god of all videogames because of the ending of ME3, I don't want to read it if it contains spoilers.

I know, it's pretty easy to plant straw men all over the place and hope that I attack one of them, but I'm not that dumb.

Yes but it's Americans posting spoilers. I'm not raging about it, I'm just pleading - to just keep it to a minimum. Also, as we discussed before - in Europe we're still hyped and excited and this negativity has done its damage, although its minute - it's certainly made me a little worried about the final product. I'm sure I'll be satisfied come friday - it just means that over the next few days, when I thought I could come here and still talk about Mass Effect and how excited I am, I now can't because threads that belong on other forums are flooding over into this one.
