Oh geez, I didn't know I was capable of forming my own opinion - look maybe I didn't put it across as well as I could have. I want to play ME3 untainted by what others are saying, I don't want spoilers and I want to enjoy the excitement I have been experiencing leading up to this launch.

I don't want those complaints people have put on a spoiler-free forum to be creeping into my thoughts when I play my copy on Friday, I'm quite OCD when it comes to it I guess. I want it to be a pure experience - my first reactions I want to be my own and not me thinking back to what I've come across, on here, when that stuff shouldn't have been posted in the first place.

spoilers do not belong here , and people should be considerate. That being said I do not know how you could expect to come to bsn and not hear other people's opinions. If the boards do not want any negative input they should post rules and moderate.

Spoilers are story line. people are more than within the rules to come here and state thier opinions on gameplay, graphics , sound , score etc....as long as its general and does not include story elements.

Didn't asia get unlocked first?, in fact anyone with a copy could have proxied hong kong and opened the game early, sccording to what i have read on other forums. people just love to ****** on americans, like they are all the same.

Yes but it's Americans posting spoilers. I'm not raging about it, I'm just pleading - to just keep it to a minimum. Also, as we discussed before - in Europe we're still hyped and excited and this negativity has done its damage, although its minute - it's certainly made me a little worried about the final product. I'm sure I'll be satisfied come friday - it just means that over the next few days, when I thought I could come here and still talk about Mass Effect and how excited I am, I now can't because threads that belong on other forums are flooding over into this one.

Did you ask ALL of them what nationality they are? No you assume they are all Americans. And you know what they say when you ASSUME, right?

Yes Americans! How dare you have an opinon!

Thanks OP! People shouldn't be able to have opinions especially ones that you don't agree with.

My goodness, you people take anything at face value these days. That's not even the point he was trying to make. Their's a place to post your gripes with the story (the spoiler section). The non spoiler section just isn't the place to do it.

THANK YOU! I don't know how many more times I need to reiterate that.

"Character so-and-so dies when X happens." That is a spoiler.

"I think character so-and-so is hot!" This is not a spoiler.

"The game is buggy and the graphics are wonky." Also not a spoiler.

The fact that we shattered your precious illusion that the game was going to be some sort of divine gift to you... is not a spoiler.

1. We don't care if you're a deluded and blind fan, OP. Go ahead and enjoy it, that's great for you, but don't force your stupidity on here. You made this thread for a bit of attention. There's nothing to discuss here.

2. What makes you think it's Americans?

When someone says Amazon.com posted their collectors edition etc when they say Gamestop did this and Gamestop did that, when they spell things with an American Dictionary spelling, yeah - I'll assume you're American.

The game is fine, don't listen to those throwing fits over non-existent bugs. 8 hours into the game and I could tell you VERY few things wrong with this game so far, it's amazing. As for the spoilers, I've been reading this forum regulary and havn't came accross anything I'd consider a spoiler.

I address two things, spoilers and the right for people to enjoy a spoiler-free thread.

What I also mentioned, perhaps it should have been in a reply, is that (and others agreed with me) it really sucks when you're so so excited for a game, as we all were (we were all in the same boat) and then it comes out in one place and not the other - then the thread gets overtaken by discussions about how bad this is, and that is, no balanced takes bar a few peoples posts.

There is just one forum that is spoiler-free and there are other forums for technical support, for story elements etc... I'm just putting it out there- why here? Why cut into our excitement?

Because this IS the forum for general ME3 discussions.

It's not the forum for making you feel happy and content with the world.

This board is crammed with a bunch of quasi-snobs who like to pick apart everything in order to gain some useless sense of accomplishment.

It's OK to say it that way, because you're only quasi-insulting people, right?

I competely agree with you, decided i was going to try and stay away from BSN until i get my copy but i'm already avoiding youtube ME Wiki and google searches so why shouldn't i be able to come here and keep my excitement up without being spoiled.  Would be a totally different story if the UK got the game first and posted everything we have been seeing.

I don't think "AMERICANS" are being targeted by this post. It's just that we, being the superpower and world leader *ahem, I want to ****** off Europeans*, got the game first. In our exuberance, some of our countrymen are leaking info and it's hitting the eyes of our Euro counterparts.

This is a plea for restraint.

I understand. It's like the little kid who found out a juicy secret. He can't keep his mouth shut in spite of himself.

You mean this is all about people posting about retailers (and the items since that's the thing). And you mad about that? What the retailers did or did not do is not a spoiler. Or is there more than that?

Ahh assumption , the mother of all screwups.

I work for a huge multi national. we have a gamers club at our office. 80 percent of the 24 people in it are not americans. they bought thier games through amazon , and i am sure a few did through gamespot.

You see how easy it is to be wrong when you rag on people from another country. Why didnt you just say it generally and keep the politics out of it. That's all i'm saying...........

The fact that you can't keep your excitement level at whatever mark you prefer without outside influence does not change the fact that this forum is for posting general stuff about ME3.  You don't have to like it, but that doesn't make the rest of us wrong.

I've replied to enough 'you hater' comments, I think I've made some concise points and the first page and half was some good discussion.

I won't accept statements directed at me, read the discussion and reply to it if you wish, if you take issue with this post then why reply to it?

I've brought something up that others have too - if you post a spoiler, in a spoiler-free designated forum, it is extremely frustrating...if you are a kill-joy and slate a game so many people are excited about, if you don't have the said game - it's hard to pick out (when so many of you are doing it) who are trolls, who are overly-sensitive or if this game has some legit issues - when I'd rather discuss Mass Effect 3 generally (in the general discussion forum) If you have an issue, say, with its graphics or bugs or whatever, take it to a technical forum.

That's all.
