Wow, sucks to be you mate. Sorry to see your valid point attracted forum pond life.
I've indulged and humoured their arguments because I really don't like to offend anyone yet, it seems as though they take offense before I've even opened my virtual mouth - for instance the post above yours. What IS that boy talking about? The fact the game is out in America, the fact Americans use the spelling "mom" which is American-English and is used no where else to my knowledge - indicates pretty strongly that a post like that is by an American user, but people on here are so set on trying to coax some kind of admition out of me that I'm a hater. This post is about the individuals posting what they are, not the fact they're American - grow a ticker skin guys. No one really cares if you're American, Asari or a talking arse (or whether you're talking out your arse)
Game was out in Asia yesterday. US today. And that quote you said, I know a Japanese girl that types the same way that lived her entire life in Japan. That's teenage text-type speak. It's in more than one country.
And you avoided that because you know you can't identify the person who typed that paragraph.
You're just butt hurt that it's being released in EU in 3 more days. Don't get mad about that and lash out at people. Is everyone in your country that immature?
Cant believe I'm still going on about this...look, I think you've been trying to get to me since page 2. Why not write exactly how I've bashed Americans and make me realise what I've done is wrong, I think you'll find I haven't said anything against any Americans - thats why the topic then turned to how I can tell the posters are American. C'mon...no really, c'mon...
Asia and Japan, you've mentioned, so we all think that all these posts are actually not Americans despite them all speaking American-English, they are in fact equal Americans and Japanese etc etc who speak one language, and use American spellings
I showed you a post that looked American-English and yet the poster identified himself as an Aussie a few posts after it. Why? because people told him to get the US version of it but he said where he was from and it wouldn't work on his Xbox.
We have been telling you it wasn't only Americans but you have stood up all thread long trying to say it was even when pointing out other countries had it almost a day longer (officially).
So you refuse to acknowledge any other nationality could be involved and jump straight to your assumptions which you even admitted you assume but won't even think for a second your assumption was wrong in the slightest.
Ok, I *have* been saying for quite a few pages that there is nothing to be offended about when clearly some individuals are, but I did actually apologise for that - what I, and a few others identified, was that the real topic was going over some peoples heads - others were joining in not reading what has been discussed and presumed I was hating etc... Posters like you, I'm afraid to say (this has been your only fair argument so far) have just been trying to prod me into saying something that would be out of character for me.
Sure I could word things a little differently (like my title) but look, a newspaper has a heading that grabs attention, then an article that follows, my title conveys what I was going to express in length, I then did.
I could have included every other person that has a copy of the game, yes you are absolutely right. But the people who are in Japan and speak American English and post spoilers, the Australian that imported an American copy and then posted a spoiler - they are the minority. I am talking about the majority because they are the bigger issue. Canadians, well, I overlooked. I didn't actually care who I was addressing - I cared about the issue I was addressing. If I could go back and rename this thread, it would be "Anyone in the world who has the game before us and is posting spoilers or posting topics not relevant to this forum, stop it!"
Ok, can we be done with this now? Because it has been off-topic since page 3
