Found a fix, use at your own risk. Sorry if this is already a known workaround. http://www.gamefaqs....34589/695374502

Would like to mention that Origin scan's ME3 files and there is a risk that this 'fix' might actually be considered a hack that origin then bans you for using. Thus the 'RISK' the quote above is referring to.

Yes indeed. I'm conflicted a bit, as I only want to fix the game and modifying the coalesced.bin file in my case is just a workaround to an issue that hasn't been acknowledged yet. If you are playing multi-player, stay away or at least don't say I didn't tell you so. Also don't expect any customer support after either.

The only files that Origin actively syncs are the BioWeapon and Power sections.

You don't have much to worry about it if you're using a custom keybind.

You can also turn off data reporting in ME3 to make yourself feel a little safer.

Though, that doesn't relay things like keybind information...

A work around for this issue shouldn't be needed. It should be made known and fixed by Bioware in a patch.

Using any kind of editor to make what should be a really basic function of the game work properly defeats the idea that this bug shouldn't have existed in the first place.

I agree. And since this workaround shows exactly where the problem is it should be a quick fix. Come on bioware. Get it together. Even worse, as soon as you apply the new update it puts the keybindings back to thier original state and you have to apply the workaround all over again. BIOWARE DO YOU EVEN READ THESE POSTS????????????????????????????????????????? FIX THIS. Or at least give a public update that you acknowledge the problem and are working on fixing it!!!!

Did the patch fix this? Anyone?

Honestly, I think this is the last EA game I will ever buy.  Oh BioWare, how the mighty have fallen.

The patch released on April 9th did not fix the scanning issue. I was hoping the list of bug fixes provided was just a 'highlights' of all the fixes. But, no, the scanning on the Galaxy map is still broken if you chose to rebind RMB to another action.

I broke down and used the fix as detailed above. Waiting for EA to fix a game I paid for at release (like a fool) could leave me waiting forever.

So far no issues.

Anyone else having this issue? I really could use a Bioware post here letting me know that they are aware of this issue and were able to recreate it.

Yes I know this is an old topic, but has anyone from BioWare addressed this issue? This is still a problem and makes playing the game difficult and annoying. And since having paid $60, I'd like a game who's controls actually function as advertised.

Thank you Bioware for addressing this!!! --> http://social.biowar.../index/12276459

Thank you for reading this and my other thread about it! Makes me so happy to not have a broken game any more :-)
