Got the best surprise of my life when I came home expecting the package I heard we got today to be the CE guide and it turns out to be THE ACTUAL CE GAME! From Amazon via First class!

I'm really not sure about mine. It said it was processing tuesday and wednesday, then apparently it got posted tuesday, and an hour ago i got an email saying it just got posted today.... So not sure.... (btw from play.com)

"Hi, all (Mass Effect 3 Standard and CE Copies) have now been despatched, and despatch emails will be sent later this evening. Thanks for your patience, lots to get through!"

I'm desperate for a PC CE version as BLOCKBUSTER.CO.UK just emailed me that they've not actually got any left even though i ordered early on the 1st, straight after i got the GAME email.

I had to email their customer support asking what "(with DLC)" on the order history actually meant and how I would receive it, just got an email from them about half hour ago so I was pretty chuffed as I didn't anticipate getting any DLC.

Yeah, I only got the dispatch email yesterday too. I was just hoping it would get here for Friday, so i'm chuffed to get it today. Was sent 2nd class by the way, so i'm guessing they must have sent them out on Tuesday and then sent dispatch emails on Wednesday.

I've had it pre-ordered from them for months, yet I've not received this email. Hmmm...

Yes, as long as you pre ordered it a week before it got released. If you ordered it say Wednesday or Thursday, you'll probably get it on Saturday.

Play.com has a 99% pre-order record but only if you order a week prior. All the big releases like GTA IV and Uncharted have arrived on launch day so I'd be confident if I pre ordered from them.

Hate to break it to you but if youre in the UK you cant play until 2.00am on Friday morning, its locked until then. Getting a physical copy early rarely means you can play early these days. I remember getting my Dragon Age 2 early and I couldnt play it until release day. That CE disc is just gonna sit there taunting you until tomorrow

Leaving in southern europe, and since pre-ordering ME3 would mean having to import it and therefore probably wouldn't get here in time, I've decided to get it directly from a gaming store. So I went there today... just in case... And they had it there already on display!!! And I reserved a copy for tomorrow. Aand then, of course, I had to ask... isn't there a way I can buy it and take it... right now... pleeease... and the store guy was really nice but said it was store policy and he would get in trouble so he couldn't sell it today. He said he would take good care of my copy and I can pick it up tomorrow. Well, worth trying... So tomorrow it is. Lets save the galaxy.

And you know that for sure? You cant play EA games like ME3 without connecting to the EA servers at the start of the game and they wont connect you if the release date hasnt passed. If you've tried this and I'm wrong then fine, I'll eat my hat,  but spare me the default sarcastic 'there's something called consoles' answer. I'll be playing ME3 on an XBOX after all.

I have my PC CE with me right now ) First time I've used GameStop UK and they came through ) Guess what my weekend will be about then!? )

I'm not happy with Royal Mail though because apparently they just dumped the parcel on the front path and buggered off ( It should have been signed for. My parents were in all morning, listening and watching out. We have a door bell and a door knocker yet they say they heard nothing. My dad went outside to clean his car just after midday and saw it led on the path! ) Crikey it could have been nicked and I'm going to write to RM and tell them what I think! Grrrrr (

the release date check isn't on the disk, its on origin which isn't on consoles unless you go on multiplayer. my friend got his copy today and he has been playing fine. the release date check is only on PC
