Hate to break it to you but if youre in the UK you cant play until 2.00am on Friday morning, its locked until then. Getting a physical copy early rarely means you can play early these days. I remember getting my Dragon Age 2 early and I couldnt play it until release day. That CE disc is just gonna sit there taunting you until tomorrow

there's something called consoles, they don't have the release date check

And you know that for sure? You cant play EA games like ME3 without connecting to the EA servers at the start of the game and they wont connect you if the release date hasnt passed. If you've tried this and I'm wrong then fine, I'll eat my hat,  but spare me the default sarcastic 'there's something called consoles' answer. I'll be playing ME3 on an XBOX after all.

the release date check isn't on the disk, its on origin which isn't on consoles unless you go on multiplayer. my friend got his copy today and he has been playing fine. the release date check is only on PC

Not to dissapoint you, but I got my dispatch email from Amazon UK at 18:04 (seems to be a popular time for them) YESTERDAY evening and I didnt get my copy today

Played about an hour of it so far and enjoying it.

Did you pay for postage £5 for next day, <£2 for up to 2 days, or are you on super saver delivery = up to 3 days . 
 (saturday don't count. buy the way as its optional for postal service to deliver )

Got my Amazon dispatch E-mail at 19:05,so it's on the way.If by some chance it is delivered while I'm at work, my next door neighbour has agreed to sign for it and store it until I get home.

Now all I need are my Pre-order codes.

Mine was first class, £2 ish, with delivery estimate of Friday. Just that Tommo thought as he got a dispatch email at 18:05 today (Thursday) he stands a chance of getting it tomorrow (Friday). However, my dispatch email at 18:04 yesterday (Wednesday) didnt mean that I got it today (Thursday). He also used first class so it doesnt look good for a Friday arrival for him, though all things are possible I suppose.

Mines now been dispatched. ( Gmail is slow at updating tonight ) NOT Via Royal mail, but HDNL which means any time from 8am - 8pm delivery window on the 9th with a tracking number as well.
But then HDNL give parcel force a run for their money in losing packages.

After the GAME fiasco, i just cant be sure enough. They wouldn't even send me codes because i'm not a UK resident! Thank god for Amazon!

Haha, I know that feeling, ex-GAME customer here too. To be honest after the stress of dealing with them I wont relax until I'm half way through the game.

Well i will see how it goes, its the first time i have used amazon for a pre-order, so i've no idea how they do things, but first class normaly means next day at least thats what i have experienced with other pre-orders from other shops, also it all depends on how close to royal mail depo you are i guess. I live in birmingham city so that could help. FIngers crossed and all that...

Has anyone who has ordered from HMV received it yet, or had some concrete confirmation? My order updated to "Completely Shipped" on their website on wednesday, but I've yet to be charged for it or received the mail saying it was dispatched... is this normal?

why does amazon uk ship from copenhagen?! they have a warehouse right in the middle of england they could easily use!

I have no idea. It says its current location is CPH, so i guess they have a warehouse there for Danish orders?

Well, mine was dispatched by play.com yesterday, and today they have emailed me a preorder code... Hopefully I only need the one code for all the CE and N7 warfare DLC, I won't be able to check until April unfortunately... Hopefully someone else will be kind enough to PM me and let me know that the one code form play.com delivers all DLC with a CE order

got mine from play.com PC CE, DPD parcel tracking says that i will get it at 12:30-13:30.

gamestop are sending me a free copy of the SE as well, since they berked up my CE pre order.
